That is so creepy! I'm sorry but that tattoo could give me bad dreams and it's literally all over Jeremy. Once he finishes the mark can if just disappear? Poor guy has to live with that ugly ink for life!

I thought Shane said the girl was Silus' beloved and the hooded figure was the witch that killed her in the tattoo. Maybe… I don't remember shane speaking about the actual tattoo

Ok another reason i think Klaus and Shane are teamed up. As soon as Kol heard about Silus he was afraid and wanted to stop Shane. He killed him because he didn't want him to bring back Silus. Soooo why isn't this Klaus's reaction? he has to know about Silus I mean everyone knows about Silus and you really think the big bad doesn't know? If Kol knows how dangerous Silus is and Klaus is still looking for the cure than Klaus knows something Kol doesn't. Klaus must have something in it for him. Like we speculated before maybe Shane promised Klaus Silus's powers. I don't think Shane cares about riding the world of vampires. I don't think he cared about the council's mission. He uses people to get what he wants and that's probably his dead loved ones.
I wonder if he promised to raise the council from the dead too? That's a lot of people coming back to life!

I also think Klaus and Shane are possibly working together because... I was convinced it was likely after the last episode (4x10) when Shane gave Bonnie the expression necklace "coincidently" the epsiode that was right after the one when Klaus killed the 12 Hybrids (4x09). However, Klaus could be being played as well because this would also suggest that he probably knew the whole time about Tyler and Caroline not really being broken up. Of course, I wouldn't put it past Klaus to take advantage of the whole situation anyway...it just seems odd he would sacrifice all of his hybrids to make more??? So it's obvious that Klaus and Shane are working together or Shane is playing all of them...only two rational conclusions.

and its still a mystery as to what harley told klaus. and SHane probably gave Bonnie that bracelet as a way of channeling more power?

EWE if that necklace was made out of the hybrid's bones. Gross!!! She has to wear the bones of the sacrificed to do the spell. GAG!
And Klaus would sacrifice 12 hybrids for sure if that meant he'd get thousands more.

Yes this conversation between Klaus and Haley has me thinking and I want to know what was said! Haley I do not get. I mean I sorta get her motivations, but I need to know more.

I think the problem with Kol, and given Bekah's reaction to hearing the name, is that Silas is some sort of 'Immortal/Supernatural Boogieman'. Bekah started saying he was a myth/not real but Kol, the youngest mind you, started freaking out. So either Kol is just giving in to the stories or he's run into evidence that proves real. I think that's why Klaus doesn't give a damn. He's got a similar disposition as Bekah (just stories) and is more concerned with getting the cure so he can turn Elena human again and make more Hybrids.

Also, I will literally throw my hands up in defeat if Silas' love was a doppelganger and upon his revival, he sees Elena and thinks it's her or tries to court her for the next season/his stay. It would give us some more history on the doppelgangers (predating Tatia) but I just...I just can't. I WON'T!

Well in an upcoming episode something about the cure will be revealed that changes everything so either the petrova bloodline is that essential and we will find out why because it started with silus and his love...maybe that's y the doppelganger is cursed? Or the hunters need to be sacrificed for the spell. They never said that silus love was a which did they? Only that the one that helped him was...

I thought they did say he was a witch. maybe I'm mistaken. BUT I'm a bot more convinced that Klaus and Shane are working together. Kol knows something that I think Klaus already does and doesn't care about and this is why he is trying to kill his own brother for it. Yes, Kol is ruining their plans but Klaus is going to great lengths to kill Kol. I wonder if Klaus gets something more than just hybrids out of this deal. He daggers his sister and now is trying to kill his brother??? Where is Elijah when you need him?!?!?!

Elijah seems to be the only one who wants to get on with his life. For all we know, he's got him a nice girl, a nice house, a job, and is just doing what he wants/enjoys without all this other crap going on. Kol/Bekah is going to call him up in a few episodes and say they need Big Bro's help. He'll make the trip. Take a few vacation days from work, tell the girlfriend he loves her and he'll be on his way back to MF to help clean up another mess.
