That and Jesus being dead. I was sitting here with a confused look on my face until I realized who you were talking about. I read that as 'Jesus' and had to reread my own post to realize you were talking about 'Hey Zeus' Yes, him dying was a bummer cause he was so interesting with his Demon. But they passed it on to Lafayette so we'll see where that goes. Also wondering what the hell they're going to do with Hoyt now. I can see how that would be confusing. Don't get me started on what they did to Hoyt.

I have only watched the first 2 seasons so far and love it! I had started watching season 3 online before I got that nasty virus I had talked about before. I'm a huge Eric fan!! I'm at the same spot, have watched season 1 and 2 and starting 3. Eric hasn't grown on me yet so much. The Godric episode though was where I started to see the appeal with him. So, I'm still waiting to see. The series as a whole hasn't really knocked me out. It's OK, TVD is better. I always go back and forth with TB and TVD(especially since one replaces the other when the other is gone.) and can never really decide what story is better.. Honestly though, I'm more addicted to TVD than anything so I'd say at least for me, TVD is better. Eric REALLY grew on me in season three, and by the end of that season I was like "Sookie and Eric! Sookie and Eric!"
Bill is just... ugh.. not even gonna touch him. I liked him and Sookie for the most part of the first three seasons but by the end of the third I was like "F you Bill."
And Alicide... is too damn sexy for his own good... but he just isn't good with Sookie, IMO.

Besides, Hoyt is a lot like Matt from TVD... mashed potatoes. (Although, I will say that Hoyt always interested me more than Matt..)

Loved Jessica & Hoyt together, as well as the buildup to them getting back together and Hoyt accepting her but I don't know what the hell happened to that after they moved in together. Just fighting with each other and then when they did break up, the stuff that Hoyt said about her. Come on... I was impartial to Jessica & Jason at first but then it just kind of clicked for me and I'm all for them being together.

I as much as I loved for Hoyt for sticking up for himself, I did feel bad about the things her. I wanted them to work it out, but I guess that will not be happening anytime soon. I like Jessica/Jason, but at the same time I don't. I do think they have chemistry. Maybe I just bitter b/c of the Hoyt/Jason/Jessica situation.

But in the most recent season, Hoyt turned into a douche(& tbh, he was never that interesting,) and I think after having lived together, it was clear they weren't working out. And, now-- I dislike the idea of them. I think Hoyt/Jessica pale in comparison to JJ and that's why I just don't see them the same as I use to.[/b]

^^^ Ugh...I really hated Eric last season cause of all the Sookie stuff. Now they're trying to toss Alcide on the Sookie bonfire and it's just not going to work. I'm glad they distance Sam away from that and he's 'just a friend/boss' now and I'm hoping they can do the same with Alcide.

I pretty much agree with everything you said except the bit about Sookie and Eric. I liked the contrast in his personality when all the BS he'd seen and done in his life was stripped away... and it was just him and Sookie-- that was lovely! But I love the Eric that has his badassery too... I guess I just feel like Eric would be happier if he DID stay like he was... without his memory. I definitely that he deserves to have Sookie-- without all this triangle s*** with Bill. Bill had three seasons. I need more than one, and I need one where Eric doesn't have to have Bill pining in the background for Sookie. That scene where he was out on the balcony and Eric and Sookie were in the woods nearby getting it on made me laugh so much.
Alcide is wonderful but him and Sookie just don't work. Sam doesn't either, but then again, I really don't like Sam that much anyway.

I think all the triangle crap also kind of bugged me about Eric last season because it was him and Bill in the later half trying to 1-up each other in who would go the farthest for her (even though I liked seeing them work together in the end when they killed Marney ) But the Bill & Eric stuff with Sookie made want to fast forward through to some other storyline because it was just *AWFUL* to me (not to mention Sookie's own dreams about the 2). Wasn't a fan either of Eric & Sookie screwing like rabbits. He doesn't fit with her nor is there any room for him in that 'bed'. I was happy when he blew her off because she just stays in trouble and she's caught between 2 Vamps but then he goes back to confess his love (and he has an unstable girlfriend...wait, *HAD*). I think he may have his hands full now though if he takes over the local pack so I hope he can focus on that entirely for the time being and during that, a new interest comes up from the pack who actually trusts him. As for Sam, I'm happy he has Luna now. He's had it rough and I think it's great that he can get serious with another Shifter (and have a child to take care of too). Also glad he's freed up from Tommy and those parents.

I really need to begin watching season 3 since I have no idea about half of what you are all saying.

You have no idea how happy I am Tommy is dead. But I do like what Sam has with Luna.
Sookie and Alcide? Eh, whatever. It's a bit much when you have Bill, Eric, Alcide and Sam all after her at one point or another.
I'm starting to agree with Pam: "I am so over Sookie and her precious fairy vagina and her unbelievably stupid name."
