I felt the need to express Stefan Appreciation write down ALL THE good things he has done

Saved Elena out of the car when her parents crashed

Helped Bonnie when she was still figuring out her magic

Helped Bonnie when she lost her magic in season 1

Rescued Bonnie and Elena when Anna kidnapped them

Ran into the Tomb when he thought something happened to Elena

Got stabbed saving Elena at the Dance

Saved Damon from the fire/trap uncle jon did in season 1

Helped Caroline through her progress of the vampire world

PREVEnted Caroline from killing Matt

Ran into the tomb to rescue Jeremy from Katherine. ENDING stuck in there

Went with Damon to rescue Elena from Rose and Elijah

Helped Rescued Caroline from the werewolves

Made sure Caroline was ok so had Elena and Bonnie have a slumber party

Went to protect Jenna when klaus/alaric was in town

Was willing to sacrifice himself for Jenna so she wouldnt have to die.

Sacrificed himself and his love for Elena to save Damon from the werewolf bite

Fought the compulsion to not kill Elena

Saved his brother by not getting klaus killed with Michael

Helped rescue Caroline from the school

Saved Matt from the crash b/c elena didnt want matt to die

Try to help Elena during her hallucinations

Put aside his jealousy and differences with damon n told him to help elena bc he cud reach her

Broke up With elena not to be selfish with her especially knowing she had feeligs for his brother

I know theres prob more and alongside the good stuff theres also the bad just like every character on this show. Wanted to show stefan some love. I know Tara n Teppy you guys can add more if you can recall any i didnt put down

wow that is a great list Ruby!! Our Stefan he is a pretty good guy. He has his dark side, he is a vampire, but he has never accepted that part of himself. He fights that part. He slips and he not perfect BY ANY MEANS AT ALL, but he continually tries to be better. He wants to grow and mature and not stay immature and careless for eternity. AND he would sacrifice himself for pretty much anyone if it is for the better.

Yea Like we all know hes done these messed up things but like I said Who on this show hasn't? I hate when they say he pretends to be good because he is not pretending. He is struggling with his inner demons.

Even from his transition Emily told him his curse would be that his heart is pure. And maybe he realized that, that all this emotion was too much and thats how the ripper formed. His alter Ego. I dont get how SE fans HAVE to dismiss things that Damon did in Season 1 when he was full on Badass mode but DE's want to drag Season 3 issues all over the place while Stefan was in his Ripper Jerk mode.

Damon never apologized for all the crap he did. He was just able to redeem himself to most of the viewer's eyes. But whatever Stefan does to redeem himself its not taken because he didnt ask people for forgiveness or apologize or say I f*c%ed up. I hate the double standard

You are so right Stefan apologizes and owns up to his faults. He does not act like his faults are okay because this is who is. He does not just say something sarcastc or try to be nice for awhile to make up for it. He actually exposes himself and says I was wrong I am sorry.
