I read both trilogies and I loved the salvatores and how they always find each other no matter what. I wish that they had the books connect with the show more. I so that Callie would make an appearance on the show. Plus I like how was more brother focused than the show. Did you read all of them? I stopped reading them. I should start reading them again.

Yep i got to read them all. I loved Callie. I wished they wouldve shown her thru flashbacks and it can show why stefan and damon were at extreme odds in the beginning of the show. Like Damon killing Lexi was something extreme so i wsh they would show morenof that. Also in the books klaus is even mentioned and there are special types of witches etc.

Yes, I kind of do not even understand how the books relate to the show. Because they changed the story a little showing flashbacks with Stefan and Lexi. Are the books suppose to support the show? or are they separate?
