Doppel, I hate your theory. I don't want Damon to be compelled or possessed to be the killer. That would seriously depress me.
Why would Sage want the council killed now? Besides, at the dinner party, didn't Elijah follow Damon after he got up? I was always under the impression that Damon helped Elijah un-dagger the rest of the originals.

I think Rebekah is the one to torture Damon She is gonna find out what he and Sage are up to. Sage I don't know what she is or could be? I just don't want her influencing Damon to kill people! That would suck.... I don't want another reason for everyone to hate Damon. I have a feeling even if he was mind controlled he wont get any slack from anyone and Care will blame him about her dad no matter what! Stefan can go be a ripper and do all that crud and Damon will be mind Flucked and he is still the monster. So i don't want that to happen.

Hmmmm, Elijah might have been with Damon. I don't know it's not really clear as they didn't leave the room together. Damon left, then Elijah left and he could have been with Damon. He said something to the effect of, "Let me take care of that," but this was after Damon had already left the room. They did come back into the room at the same time. Then Klaus makes his offer of taking care of Elena. Stefan says no deal. Damon and Elijah leave again to get the extra coffin and THIS is where Elijah released his family, I presume. So they actually left twice. The first time not at the exact same time, the second time together to get the coffin. So, you could be right, but it also could be a loophole.  |

I don't want it either, but there is another supernatural force coming and the only one we know who is coming is Sage, so what exactly is her thing and why does it appear that she can control Rebekah? None of that is clear yet of course since we haven't even met her yet.  I don't know this theory just randomly came to me. If Elijah was with Damon during that one brief break maybe he couldn't have stabbed Alaric. I'm just not sure on that so that sort of left it open. I was hoping I could easily rule him out but I couldn't as it turned out. Yeah Rebekah torture is resonable just cause she's ticked off or maybe to keep Damon quiet about the tree, Bekah and even Klaus together. We don't have a synopsis or anything on 3x18 yet. I was thinking even Sage could be the torturer depending on what happens there. |

I know, it sucks. I'm with ya, but look at the bright side. It gives Elena a chance to rescue him and her feelings to come out and don't say, "Yeah, right when pigs fly out of her ass she'll finally recognize her feelings for him," because I've already thought it. |

The medical examiner? Where was Damon when he died? He was with Alaric and then wasn't he trying to go and help Elena with the whole Stefan and bridge thing? He and Alaric were together that night.
Cares Dad.... Where was he? Anyone remember?

What about what Liz said about Elena's fingerprints being on the weapon? You know Elena had kind of been around for every murder to conveniently. Maybe Elena is compelled it would then explain her 3x14 behavior *denial*  |
