I can't wait for this show to return! It's probably my 3rd favourite show on TV right now, and probably so far the only show I watch where I don't want to hit some of the characters. It's a shame, like others, I just really warmed to the idea of Emma and Graham and now he's gone. Boo. Oh, and awesome news about Amy Acker - she's a wonderful actress. Henry is the only character I want to slam in the face with a cinder block and leave in the street The voice and his general attitude drives me up the wall Then again, it's rare that I like a show and don't have a problem with some character(s) or that I like a 'kid' character in general. Kids Funny enough, I initially only watched the show 'Grimm' cause I thought that'd cover me on the whole fairy tales/fables thing and thought OUAT would be too family aimed and not interest me. After going 2 episodes in with OUAT (was going to pass on it about 15 minutes into the 1st episode but someone told me it got better so I carried on with finishing it), I actually haven't watched an episode of Grimm since and look forward to each OUAT episode.

^ You and me both. Henry annoys me to no end. And it's not like we're getting rid of him any time soon so

Haha, I don't get why people hate Henry so much. I think he's a cutie. Anyways, I recently caught up with Grimm-- it fell behind when I discovered OUAT/Revenge--- because all my shows were on hiatus and I was pleasantly surprised. It's getting better and you should give it another watch. OUAT is definitely still my favorite out of the two though.

Just a few days remain until we’re served up a new episode of Once Upon a Time (Jan. 8!), but Richard Schiff is already excited about the show’s eleventh episode, in which he’ll appear as Snow White’s (Ginnifer Goodwin) father, Enchanted Forest’s King Leopold. (“I don’t think I’ve ever played a king before, except in my own bedroom,” he jokes.)
Shortly before the holidays, the West Wing alum (TOBY!) chatted with me about the upcoming revealing and “intricate” story line that flashes back to his days with the Queen and his daughter, Snow White. “He certainly seems to be a happy guy at first glances,” says Schiff, who will soon also appear in Showtime’s House of Lies. “They wrote him as a happy-go-lucky guy. [He doesn't] desire anything. But at one point he says, ‘I have a prosperous kingdom, a beautiful daughter, and a lovely Queen,’ and I decided to make the Queen line not as excited as the other two items on that list. In other words, he’s unhappy and I don’t think people are ignorant [to that] … So there’s a little bit of darkness underneath him.”
And while anyone who watched the show’s fall finale can guess how the King’s story ends, Schiff, who shares scenes with Lana Parrilla, Goodwin, and magic mirror Giancarlo Esposito, says his Once costars aren’t so sure they’ve seen the last of the King. “The actors all seem to think I’m coming back, but that’s a discussion I’ve have not had with anyone else. But they all say, ‘You have to come back because you explain this and that’ and ‘You’re the reason that… ‘ But, really, they’re all guessing along with [viewers].”

Same. Could he be in Storybrook? Could he be something that could be used against Rumpelstiltskin/Mr. Gold? (also Mr. Gold's limp is from his Rumpelstiltskin human days).
So Rumpelstiltskin was kind of tricked into his current life/power by the Zoso (?) because he himself was tired of the life. He was also protective of his name, which Rumpelstiltskin doesn't seem to be and I think that's because he himself has the dagger or has hidden it away so no one has the power over him.
Mr. Gold set Emma up from the beginning with the fire and what happened afterwards. Great foresight on his part to get her where he wanted her so she could win the office of Sheriff. The Queen thinks Emma made an enemy out of Mr. Gold but it was Mr. Gold's plan the entire time so the joke is on the Queen in that regard.
The Queen coming in at the beginning of the episode to take the Sheriff's badge annoyed me. Her whole attitude is so hot/cold that I don't know how to feel about her but it's mostly a hate mentality cause her ugliness seems to show through more.
Hansel & Gretel next week.

Hmm. I wonder what DID happen to his son. Of course, we don't know how much time passed from when he became the Dark One and when the curse came into effect. Maybe as the Dark One he lives longer? Also, how did he get his dagger in RealWorld? I'm pretty sure I saw it in his shop. Of course, he has a lot of stuff from fairy tale land. So I guess that's not much of a stretch. The whole plan with the fire seems rather elaborate. And hinged on too many things going just so. I am curious as to what he wants to pay off the debt and what he would consider paid in full. I've also totally forgotten what the favour was.

Given someone of his character, he has an eye for knowing what people will do it seems. And yes, his shop has a lot of things in it from the Fantasy World (like Geppetto's parents as wooden figures from the Jiminy Cricket episode).
I think the favor he is owed is from when Cinderella in the Real World wanted to keep her baby but it was owed to Mr. Gold. I think Emma promised him a favor in return if Mr. Gold nullified his deal with Cinderella for her child. So he lost a child from a deal and we know how he is with children so I think Emma's favor is going to be pretty substantial to him.

Does it seem like to anyone that Mr. Gold wants to trick Emma into becoming the "dark one" so he can be free of the magic? I kinda got that when they talked at the end of the episode.

Did anybody watch the last episode? It was a bit boring. And not enough of Emma Caulfield!

I did, but for some reason i can't remember what it was about Oh I remember now ( had to think about for a couple of minutes). The genie and the magic lantern. It was an uninteresting episode. I hope today's ep will be better
