Oh no looks like Alaric planned all this from the start. Acess to Gilbert house? CHECK! Access to Alaric's trunk? DOUBLE CHECK!! Inside info of the founders council CHECK CHECK! How could I not see this before. Alaric is the killer. Maybe this is why he is not as cautious around Psycho doctor as he should be because he knows she didn't do it. He did.

He stabbed himself and nearly died doing it? That's the one problem I have with the idea that Alaric did it, unless he was compelled and doesn't realize it. But they're not done killing council members so why would he have stabbed himself now?

Though he would have a bit of an alibi in stabbing the ME along with Meredith but we've been informed that she's not the killer. But Alaric along with Jeremy would definitely fit into the category of surprising, didn't see that coming bit

I think the killer is Jeremy...something was off about how he went away But I really do think it was someone who was compelled to do those killings You're new to the boards!!! Welcome! I kinda feel like it could be Jeremy too! What if Tyler is compelling him to do it! Hey yes I'm new to the board and new to watching TVD I watched all 3 seasons in about 2 weeks time I instantly got hooked on this show...even though I ship Stelena I love Damon too (yea I know kind of rare lol) But back to main subject...wow if Tyler is compelling him to do that I'll be really shocked cause I really believe he is out of town trying to break that sire bond...(btw I ship Forwood too) but I'm ready to see the killer since they said its someone we know already.

Hi there and welcome! It's not as rare as you think that a Stelena likes Damon. They just don't like him with Elena. Post away any theories you might have, that's half the fun of it.

Idk I'm stumped too...

Jer is breaking his sire bond (though in the little Gilbert’s case, he’s spirit bonded to his dead ex-girlfriend). If you’ve been missing Mystic Falls’ studliest sketcher — or is that Klaus (Joseph Morgan)? — you’ll be happy to know he’s due back in The Vampire Diaries’ upcoming flashback episode. But when is he heading home from Denver?
Just in time for the decade dance, according to Zap2It. Hooray! Let’s just hope he doesn’t go all ‘20s gangster on Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) possible love interest…

Question... Does Damon bring the Ripper back? That is the new dig on Damon from some of the clips we have seen! Twitter is blaming Damon. Can you just say yes or no to us?

Uhh, not in present day. IMO, this episode was very much so Defan centered and no one can deny that Damon is truly trying to help his brother in 1912.
However, in flashback scenes-- I don't know what is in the clip, haven't watched it having already seen the episode-- Damon does [kind of] bring out the ripper side of Stefan.

Yeah that is what everyone is saying! That it's Damon's fault for the village massacre! Again I will say it here... Stefan is a grown ass man. He could run away or lose his brother. HE DOESN'T have to EAT PEOPLE! if he does.... it's his own damn fault! It's not Damon's! This is in regards to peeps on twitter and not here.

Im trying to wait until I see the episode to find out what really happened but if they were both engaging in vampire activities (eating people) and if Damon stopped and Stefan kept on going then I fault Stefan for doing this cause if he know he have a problem with human blood then why even go back down that road again...I personally don't blame anything Stefan does on Damon cause they are two different individuals But I see some of the craziest things said on twitter from both ships I just be like WTF?

I'm sick of the blame game! I really am. They both do sucky things and complain about the sucky things they do but don't blame one brother for something that the other has complete control over. KWIM? It's like unless someone holds a gun up to your head you make your own choices. I think it was a crappy thing for Stefan to bring that girl to Damon when he was in transition. He was weak yes, but at the end of the day Damon bit her. Not Stefan. So we could say Stefan actions sucked but we cant blame him for Damon being a vampire. Just like in this episode.... if Damon is trying to get Stefan to eat that sucks but Stefan eating people is his own fault! You cant blame anyone for that village massacre but STEFAN!
