LOL oh boy. Well for those of you who haven't watched Lip Sync Battle before, the basic idea is showmanship and to be as out there and ridiculous as possible. Most of the time its entirely hilarious, which is the point. It started out as a skit on Jimmy Fallon, so it is meant to be funny. You guys should check out some of the greatest hits so far, which include (IMO anyways):
The Rock vs. Jimmy Fallon (The Rock doing Taylor Swift's Shake It Off is particularly funny)
Anna Kendrick vs. John Krasinski
Channing Tatum vs. his wife Jenna Dewan Tatum (this one it entirely ridiculous for several reasons. One, because he dresses in drag for both performances, and Two, because his wife actually impersonates HIM for one of her performances, and gives him a lap dance, and its AMAZING LOL)
And my personal favorite, Julianne Hough vs. her brother Derek Hough. I don't even remember what their first songs of the set were, because Julianne stole the show with her second performance which was to Lonely Island's I Just Had Sex LOL. Which, if you guys have never heard that song, it is beyond hilarious. But she was amazing. And the best part was the look on her brother's face afterwards hahahaha.
Anyways, its good comedy, usually. Worth checking out. I suppose that would have helped to understand the context of this show but it felt like Nina was the brunt of the joke to me.

I haven't seen the show or Ninas episode, but I may have to go look it up now too! But here's my thing, it sounds like they each do two songs - so you would think that either Nina would pick up on the vibes after the first song or her publicity team (if she's still got one present for events) might mention something so that she could change up her act for the second round. Even if her thing was to be sexy with the number, anyone that knows anything about Tim Teabow knows about his devotion to God and his stance on sexuality. As an actor she probably could have improvised her act. But if she was just trying to be a goof (since that's the nature of the show) and that's her go-to goofy thing, then she probably saw nothing wrong with it in the moment, lol.

Maybe true but in poor taste if you ask me, mainly because it was Tebow and that was the one thing she could do that would make her look bad and it appears that's what the press thought as well, giving her the thumbs down. If that was her idea I don't think she thought it through. If it was someone without those sort of moral standards maybe it would have been funny, but in this case it was a huge flop. She got no interest out of him whatsoever and came off looking sleazy instead. Probably not something she's used to, not being adored by a man for her sexuality, but frowned upon instead...LOL Then Tebow went ahead and 'taught' her the right way to behave with his performance...I mean ouch. That's how it came off to me anyway. One could argue it was as bit of a 's*** shaming' fest but saying that doesn't change the fact that Tebow won. Admittedly I don't think I saw the whole thing start to finish in the clips I watched and I didn't watch it live but the bits I did see came off that way to me. The press had a field day with it.
