This is a thread for minor characters not recurring ones like Katherine.
Personally I would like to see Henrik the youngest of Klaus's siblings make a come back from the dead as a scary necromancer type villain.

Mikael is the only minor character I'd care to see again. Though I'm not sure how that would be possible since he died, unless he was only in flashback scenes.

Mikael got screwed as far as use goes. He was hyped up and the end result was a slap in the face. Also, Pearl. She wanted to open her own business and get on with her life so I think having her around from time to time to give the group info would have been nice. Mason too would be a nice return.

Rose's friend Slater is someone I wished they kept around. It was so fun seeing a geeked up vamp in glasses who had all the time in the world so he was pimped out in scholarships and whatnot. But yeah he's not coming back unless Jeremy did that ghost thing of his |

Could have probably gotten a side job as a teacher or working at the hospital and fit in fine as a contact for the gang (if Bonnie made him a ring). |

I totally forgot about Rose and I LOVED her. I liked Slater too but he is also dead. See? All these characters I'd like to return and they are are dead.  |

TVD kills off too many characters 'too soon'. If they killed them off after 2-3 seasons where fans actually got attached to them, fine. At least that adds something to their passing but the way TVD just kills people off all willy-nilly does nothing but piss people off or gives people the expectation that they shouldn't become attached to anyone. If the show is doing it for 'shock value', it's not working at this point. And to say it's to get rid of the characters is pushing it. Let them go on with their lives in the TVD universe. Move to a different country/town, continue their own personal journey, whatever. Stop freaking killing everyone 2-4 episodes after they show up.

I liked Slater. I also liked that one girl who was all vampire star struck when Damon went to save Elena at the apartment that Rose took her to in season 2. I loved how Damon treated her. She was pretty funny too.

I liked Slater. I also liked that one girl who was all vampire star struck when Damon went to save Elena at the apartment that Rose took her to in season 2. I loved how Damon treated her. She was pretty funny too. Oh yeah I liked that girl too! I think she was Slater's girlfriend or something like that. My mind goes completely blank on what happened to her. She was possibly killed off but I don't remember how. Then there was Harper, one of the 'good' tomb vampires that was trying to help Stefan. I forgot how he died too  |

He was killed alongside Pearl when John came to tie up that end. Yep that was him. Oh yeah how could I forgot about that whole anti vampire incident with John. I wished Pearl, Anna, and Harper could have gotten out of Mystic Falls safe. I also would have liked if Luka, his dad, and sister could have stuck around. Even Mason. Lots of potential for characters and storylines but TVD is quite to ditch them  |

The Luka/Jonas storyline bothered me. If I remember correctly, the gang offered them an alliance/deal where they worked together but Jonas opted out of it and tried to awaken Elijah again which cost Luka his life and then resulted in Jonas jumping off the deep end. Then the daughter didn't even care about the loss of her family as she was fully under Klaus. They could have used the Martins as a jump start for Bonnie learning more magic and having someone to train her but they seem perfectly fine with having Bonnie being little Ms. Magic Perfect who learns spells on the first attempts. There is no learning curve for her  |
