THE HUNTER’S MARK — Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) form an uneasy alliance to try and contain the danger that Connor (guest star Todd Williams) has unleashed on the town. When Connor takes Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), Matt (Zach Roerig) and April (guest star Grace Phipps) hostage at the Grill, Stefan and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) have a serious disagreement about the best course of action, and Elena (Nina Dobrev) is again caught between the two brothers. The situation quickly turns violent when Klaus sends one of his hybrids, Dean (guest star Blake Hood, “The Young and the Restless”) to stand up to Connor. Caroline (Candice Accola) is surprised to find Hayley (guest star Phoebe Tonkin) at the Lockwood mansion. Meanwhile, Professor Shane (guest star David Alpay) works with Bonnie (Kat Graham) to help her get past her fear and guilt.

Well of course Stefan doesn't agree with Damon. I'm happy to see that Caroline, for once, has not been kidnapped. So I guess Klaus still has hybrids left over?

Klaus sent them out of town, remember? They haven't been around for awhile. $10 says Caroline tries to save Matt and ends up captured too. It has to happen Or they'll send her in to deal with Connor.

I guess since this hybrid is actually actor named in the description guess he isn't going to go down as easily as the others did.

Bleh Damon and Stefan at odds again? Shouldn't at this point everyone knows that Damon is always right? Stefan even admitted it in 4x01 and his stunts with Elena on the blood diet got nowhere.

Although I can see how this sort of fits in the theme of the season with all these choices and consequences scenarios.

Oh yea each description gets better and better. And Damon is not always right but most of the time he is hahahahaha. And Yes I am glad its not Caroline this time. Poor girl has already been captured what? 3 or 4 times. And Jeremy might not be on Conner's side completely if he is getting kidnapped by him

So i saw the clip for next week and it looks like everyone is on Damons side on the plan to get Conner. BUT STEFAN does have a point about not just going in without knowing what they getting into.

It looks like it will be an intense episode

I'm wondering if that's Stefan that gets blown up in the promo, not that he'd die, but the person had a grey shirt on and Stefan was the only one with a grey shirt it looked like to me and since he said he was going to investigate maybe it is him.

- A great scene between Stefan and Damon. Of course we’re not getting into details, but it gets pretty intense between the Salvatore brothers, who have had drama brewing ever since Elena first sprouted fangs. That brotherhood is an important part of the series, and it’s great that that core can be revisited.

- Caroline doesn’t like Hayley at all. Caroline meets Hayley, who is still shacking up in werewolf-hybridville. No matter what the relationship was between Tyler and Hayley in the past, Caroline’s not liking this one bit. Speaking of Hayley, I wish they’d just let Phoebe Tonkin speak in her naturally awesome Australian accent. It might not match with the character, but it would make me buy the character more. I love seeing Phoebe Tonkin, though.

- Bonnie’s off in Dr. Shane-land. I guess we should be thankful Bonnie is in the episode at all… too bad most of her scenes are off with Dr. Shane, who is helping her bring her own magic back.

- One of the big ‘ships gets a kiss. Delena or Stelena? You guess. (This is mean, I know.)

- Matt’s not the only one anymore. Isn’t it great that with April on the show now, Matt’s not the only non-supernatural person in town anymore? Okay, so there are people like Liz Forbes too, but you know what I mean.

- Trapped at the Mystic Grill! Vampire hunter Connor traps a few folks at the Mystic Grill, and not everyone makes it out unscathed.

- Super team up! So many characters work together on a common goal. In a show with changing loyalties like The Vampire Diaries, this is nice to see.

- The diaries are back! The show lives up to its name as Elena finally writes some [vampire] diaries again. Diary Elena, we’ve missed you.

I'm glad the diary writing is coming back so maybe we can get inside Elena's head a little since she's confusing as heck when her mouth is moving.

Thats what I am saying! It will probably start out with the diary writing because the middle wont work and maybe the ending could but who knows. Wonder if they will write the same things lol

The whole kiss thing just seems funny. Why would it need to be a 'spoiler' for a Stelena kiss? You would expect two people that are together to kiss naturally

Exactly why spoil an SE kiss? They didn't spoil their kiss in other episodes. It has to b a DE kiss otherwise that was the lamest spoiler ever!
