I didn't have a problem with the webclip until Stefan said that line about not pretending that it's the happiest day of Damon's life. Damon doesn't even know they broke up over Elena's feelings for him, he explained about the cure and Stefan's motives to Elena the other episode which is why he was so surprised that Stefan said they broke up.
And I'm not saying that Stefan had to be all, 'Okay brother, let's go get some drinks and talk about how I lost my girl!'
I don't care if Stefan rejected Damon's offer, I'm personally not much of a Defan fan anyways so that's one less bonding scene shoved down my throat.
I just hate that one particular line as if he thinks Damon's going to throw him a smirk and be like, 'Haha sorry for your lost bro! Now where's the newly single Elena?'

Well yea thats true. I thought dag Stefan you didnt have to be mean but now Stefan knows its fair game and the ball is in Damons court without him knowing yet.
And either way its bitter sweet for damon bc it could be the happiest day of his life but at his brother's expense so it can suck for him
It wont last long if theres DEx this episode anyways
Also what if rippah stefan comes out bc they start turning ppl into vamps so jeremy can kill them

Seems more like the ball's in Elena's court As for Rippah Stefan, he and Caroline did had that convo back in 4.03 about Caroline being there to bring him back/keep him in check so that could possibly come into play soon.

I suppose Steffy's entitled to be an ass. After all, it looks like Damon will get the girl, at least for now. It was just a little rough the way Damon offered to try to help him deal and got that reaction from Stefan. That was a serious slap in the face. Of course, knowing Stefan, it could have just as well been a real slap in the face. If Damon had known the break-up was because of him, he might have handled it differently. But Damon has been in that place multiple times. He's had to watch Stefan be with the girl he loved for ages, so he knows how it feels. I think he will feel bad for Stefan about all this, when Elena tells him. It will be interesting to see his reaction to the news. Can we leave the JNSI incident back in season 2? Otherwise I'll have to start a new thread in the debate section.

Why do you think it won't last long if there is DEx?
I also think we're going to be seeing the return of the Ripper and that Caroline will be the one to try to bring him back. Stefan, right now, doesn't have much reason not to let his control go and get his rage out, so stick that along with wanting to turn people to be killed by Jer and it's a formula for Ripper disaster. I could debate about all of that, how wrong it is for Stefan to even consider turning innocent people just to kill them off, but we'll see what he actually does first.
The synopsis for the episode says he goes about things his own way, probably ignoring Damon's suggestion to find a new hunter. This will be really bad when Elena finds out that Jeremy has killed and the consequences of that. Of course she is responsible for killing Connor and thus Jeremy becoming the new hunter in the first place, but not intentionally.

Oh no i meant Damon's feelings on the whole break up. he doesnt know its about him so when he does find out and it leads to him and elena doing you know what, I think stefan will be the last person on his mind lol

I don't know. I sort of think he's been trying to respect Elena's 'choice' but if she comes onto him I don't think he's going to be able to resist. I mean, he loves her. So I think that is how it is going to go down. He does care about what it does to Stefan. We've seen that time and time again, about him feeling guilty, about him explaining what Stefan did to Elena so she wouldn't think Stefan was horrible, more than once. He's been pretty honorable about it all, but he does love her.

But im saying If he does have sex with Elena At that moment stefan will not be in his mind, maybe after but def not during lol

a funny article:
The Vampire Diaries is a show where witches can bring people back from the dead, vampires kiss humans instead of ripping their throats out, and werewolves have silky smooth chests when they haven’t transformed. And we accept all of this without blinking an eye. Yet it’s the little things that make us scoff and say, “That would never happen.” Check out the biggest logic fails from Season 4, Episode 7, “My Brother’s Keeper.”
Klaus lets Stefan off the hook. For some reason we still don’t get, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) didn’t want anyone knowing about the vampire cure. Fine. He threatened Stefan (Paul Wesley) with mass murder should the younger Salvatore let the secret slip out. Suddenly, everyone and their brother — such as Damon (Ian Somerhalder) — knows and Klaus just shrugs it off with a sort of half-nelson, bro hug moment? Maybe it’s just because Klaus is in luvre.
Miss Mystic Falls is just letting anyone win now. A lot of people are thinking Professor Shane (David Alpay) and the rest of the (hopefully less creepy) judges handed April (Grace Phipps) the crown because her father had just died. And while the sympathy vote is a nice idea, it certainly didn’t earn Elena (Nina Dobrev) the crown the year before. Those other girls must be fuming. They’ve been slaving away on committees and doing community service and suddenly this girl who’s been in town for a week (roughly?) and keeps asking where Rebekah (Claire Holt) wins Miss Mystic Falls? Shenanigans.
There are murderers in Mystic Falls (who aren’t vampires, we mean)? OK, a lot of people go missing due to animal attacks, but Mystic Falls has a normal, human serial killer and no one knows about it? Shouldn’t his picture be splashed on every newspaper and shouldn’t they have formed a new Town Council to deal with the problem? And since when is non-Ripper Stefan this OK with killing humans?
House swap Yeah, we get it. Damon and Elena had to end up in front of a roaring fire with bourbon pre-coitus. Very picturesque. But wasn’t there a better way to get her there than having Elena move into the Salvatores? That means Stefan had to move out. No, no, no. Just have Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) move in with Matt (Zach Roerig), so they can still have bromantic sleepovers. See? It’s simple. One person moves instead of three.
Vampirercise Frustrated by his breakup with Elena, Stefan decides to head to the woods for some pushups. He has super strength. How many of those does he have to do before he even breaks a sweat? Personally, we think he should’ve taken up Damon on his offer of drunken debauchery. Now that’s how you deal with a breakup.

I really hated Caroline in this episode I understand Damon hurt her but come on. She should of been a better friend. She made me want to slap her.
