DAY 1: MY FAVORITE MALE CHARACTER WOULD BE KLAUS...hes evil, hes lonely, he's mysterious. Theres so much we can learn about him that intrigues me. They make him this layered villian who you want to sympathize with but then you want to just hit because he did one of the other character dirty and I cant help but love him.

Oh I see these all the time on Tumblr! It should be fun doing it here!  Day 1: Favorite Male Character I'm so lazy I want to skip the why part  But basically he's the heart of the show with some of the best lines that always makes me laugh. His character has many layers and he's grown from the 'bad brother' title of season 1 and always tries to do the right thing but sometimes he has those moments where he does something stupid that gets me frustrated like, 'Hasn't he grown from doing stuff like this?' but I still wind up loving him at the end of the day lol  |

Favorite female character: Well, most of the time Bonnie, but when Katherine is on the screen it quickly goes to her. I love them both!

I missed day one.. darn Anyway, my favorite female character (as of right now) is Rebekah. I have just always liked her more than the others since she showed up  |

Yes, Katherine, even over Elena, although I want Elena with Damon. But Katherine is so fun and manipulative. I want her back on the show. I want her back too! Any word that she will be back this season? |

Day 2 and Day 3:
Favorite Female Character: Caroline: She is my favorite because she's snarky, outspoken, neurotic, and although many dont like her right now I still do. She's a tough sensitive cookie and has grown alot in the show.
Favorite Character Overall: Would have to be Damon...Damon makes the show with his snarky quotes, his impulsiveness and the way he can be so tragic, so in love and so Damon. He cares but doesnt like to show he does and has grown so much, you can hate him love him he will always be Damon Salvatore better NAKED HAHAHAH

Day 3- Favorite overall is Stefan. When I watch the show I am always watching from his perspective. As I am aware this show is about Elena, to me, it is about Stefan. Not to mention he is played by Paul Wesley who is perfect.

It'll come as no surprise to anyone that my overall favorite character is Damon. To me, Damon is the show and everything good about the show. Watching him show up all badass and not caring and seeing him change before our eyes with alot of ups and downs, watching him struggle, suffer and lose without feeling sorry for himself and without losing his snarky sense of humor is what this show is about to me. Now, I just hope he wins for once and for good.

Day 1 Favorite Male Character: DAMON Day 2 Favorite Female Character: ELENA then Bonnie then Kat Day 3 Favorite overall Character: Damon. I will elaborate on this! Damon is such a diverse character. When I first watched the show I liked SE. Damon came on and I loathed him. I loved to hate him and then when I watched "Friday Night Bites" and saw him caress Elena's face not only did I JUMP ship but Damon became the sole reason I watch this show. I want him to be happy. This guy has so much pain built up inside of him from the years when he was human and how even through that pain he loved his humanity to me is so beautiful! He is flawed and I accept his flaws. I know who he is and I cant wait to see where he goes. He loves hard and with his whole heart. I love his honesty even if it's brutal at times. With Damon nothing is a mystery. I love that he loves his brother but also accepts things that have driven them apart. We have seen plenty of times when Damon has showed how much he loves his bro and Elena. I could go on and on but I don't want to make a Damon essay so I will end it there!

Whoa kind of forgot about this!
Day 2 Favorite Female: Elena/Katherine. Well it's kind of a toss up because I love Katherine's attitude and how she's always one step ahead and runs circles around everyone, but I don't take kindly to her more destructive arcs where she's pretending to be Elena/using Jenna, Caroline etc. and causing a mess with the main characters. But it's just fun to watch Katherine at work it's like I'm conflicted. Which is why I like Elena just a bit more. Her tendency to want to save her friends and not put them at stake, her love and kindness towards everyone, her loyalty. And this is becoming longer than I intended so I'll stop here Day 3 Favorite Character overall: Damon for many of the same reasons I said in Day 1 and what Doppel and Sweet said so I'll save space and not right another essay on this!
Day 4 Least Favorite Character: Looking back on seasons 1-4, I'd have to say my least favorite ever is probably Anna She was sort of just there for me. I didn't really like how she was using Jeremy/Elena to get in the tomb or her relationship with Jeremy. Didn't really relate to her situation and when she died I was like, 'Meh'. Then I hated when she was brought back in the Ghost life ruining Beremy and having it seem like she was 'the love of Jeremy's life' when he talked/was more devastated over Vicki's death then he ever was her death. He got over it fairly quickly. But yeah basically Anna has been my least favorite through all the seasons. If I had to pick one for season 4 it'd be April Young. |

missed a lot. Day 1: Favorite Male Character Damon. as for the why part too many reasons too little time Day 2: Favorite Female Character I'd have to say Kat, she's so sinical she cracks me up. waiting for her return  Day 2: Favorite Character Overall 'course Damon. to me TVD=Damon Day 3: Least Favorite Character was gonna go with either Care or Stef, but Esther wins this category in my eyes. She tried to kill her children which is unjustifiable in my eyes. She's a witch, she has to know there's a cure, if her children knew and she was watching them or whatever, then she knows. but she chose to kill them nonetheless. |

Day 4: Least Favorite Character
i Will have to agree and go with Esther...She came like she had wanted to reunite her children but instead wanted to kill them all and use anyone she could. she then kills Alaric to make him an ultimate hunter to only die anyway
