This episode was basically about hurting Stefan and the worst thing he said was I hate my brother. ... which at the moment c'mon! of course he does and he could have said a lot worse about the situation. even under compulsion he kept his composure. He is the strongest character on the show!

(oh and we all know he does not really hate his brother... he is hurt he does not hate)

Of course he feels like he hate his brother. He trusted his brother and he found out about the betrayal from neither Elena or Damon.

Right! I am so happy our first were done right and no scenes will top 2 SE scenes first being the one where Elena tell him she loves him and second be the phone scene in S3 the most beautiful scenes in the series. No DE scene can compare.
