Since it appears that Ian may be single now, I thought it might be a good idea to make a new thread about rumors, speculations, photos and sightings of Ian with women who may or may not be a love interest. I want to emphasis as in the Nian thread prior to this, alot of what we may discuss is not necessarily a proven fact nor should it be construed as such. OK so to start this off there is a recent tweet stating that Ian is seeing someone else that a girl wrote and then deleted and made more vague. Many people, including myself saw the original tweet but when she got questioned she deleted but left this which she seems still very definite about:

Like all speculations it has to be taken with a grain of salt but there are pictures of this girl on set with Ian the other day on her twitter account so she was there and perhaps saw or heard something that made her make these statements.

Yeah but I can also see not wanting the attention that it would bring because it's not all good attention and being afraid of being a 'source' for something like that even if it is true. If it's a lie, I can see deleting it as well so there's no definitive answer on that one. One thing is certain, she was on set so she could be legit. She has pics of her and Paul in the Salvatore mansion set along with the pics of herself with Ian. The word is that she had said her family works on the show in some way and that's why she was able to be on set, so even that is behind the scenes stuff that perhaps she has heard/known.

It seems like most of the stuff we hear though is like this 'hearsay' so we have no proof. It's just interesting to ponder.

Some people still believe in the Alexis thing but that evidence is pretty slim. The girl on the plane said Alexis sat in Ian's lap and they were making out but yet she had no pictures of any of that, just a picture between the seats of Ian and some unidentified brunette talking is his ear. I think the thing about the Alexis rumor that keeps it alive is that she was in Sardinia at the same time which is mighty coincidental and not mentioned in the social media by either of them as any sort of work related thing. Alexis also said it was a last minute decision and that she didn't have clothes for the weather there so it was not planned by her, but the trip was planned by Ian a long time prior. Also her trying to get Ian's attention later was interesting and with the stink the fans made I half expected him to tell us all to calm down that she was a 'friend' like he did about Ana, but he didn't. So I think that also fueled the belief that it might be true.

In other places these types of threads are getting bombarded by Nian fans trying to disclaim everything talked about so I'm hoping that doesn't happen here. I'm leaving it open to discussion about Nian as it comes as well, but not if it gets out of hand. I'm all for Nian getting back together again but I'm not for living in lala land believing that nothing else is possible. We already have a Nian specific thread that can be used for that purpose. This one is for other possibilities.  |

Hmmm! It is interesting to ponder!
If you don't wanna cause a stir/be a source for a rumour then don't tweet anything I guess (no matter how hard it may be to refrain!)...
We shall see at the TCA's I guess if anything goes down with Ian & Nina or Ian & Alexis...or perhaps we'll see a fat lot of nothing...that's probably more likely!

Yeah but like I said in the other thread if Ian so much as says something to Nina the whole, "Nian is unbroken" chant will start up again and at this point that is so unrealistic to think that I can't even fathom it. I could see them having a split and then working it out but not that. Trying to shut up anyone else that says anything other than 'Nian' is also weird and disturbing to me.

One thing we have going for us with Ian is that when he's fallen for someone he can't seem to keep his hands off them so that gives him away as it did with Nina. But, he is also pretty touchy feely all around so it might take a while to tell the difference.  |

The Nians went crazy over that one hand holding picture of Nina and Ian at Comic con and after that the rest is assumption that they are back together or getting back together despite no evidence of the kind. I give them exhibit A. Ian holds hands with women he is not romantically together with, unless you are a Kian fan and if you are do NOT talk to me.  Thank God Kat's engaged to someone else or the Comic Con thing would have been a huge mess. |
