And this one. Ian yelling, "Don't get killed. Don't get killed," to the paparrazi crossing the road with them. He's always so sweet no matter what. But I did find it funny that Matt Davis kept messing with them and the flashlights to screw up their pictures at the end...rofl

Maybe, I don't know. Perhaps they just wanted to lay low again because it was hard being in the limelight and this gave them a chance to do that. I guess only time will tell.

I'm also still in the 'I don't know' camp and I will be unless we get confirmation that they're living apart, etc, we see one of or the other out with someone else who is clearly not just a friend, or we grt a confirmed statement either way.
I honestly think they're just taking a break due to disagreements and stress regarding their separate projects, etc. I think they're at war between their personal feelings and their careers ; I think most major celebs or career minded people are in general.

Hmmmm...I've had the same luck Linda, although I was married, to a complete jerk that I left! Now I don't know if I will ever find the right man for me, years wasted that I will never get back. Oh, well. I don't mind being single though. Nobody else to bother with making happy but me! I can do as I please, which sometimes is good and sometimes bad as I can be a beligerent pain in the ass since I always get my way. haha!

Here's some good news. Nina obviously has Moke and she called him her 'kid' again. That is Ian's cat. AND she's going somewhere but she won't say where... My pets are the same way if I'm packing, they start moping and/or try to stop me from leaving any way they can including sitting in the suitcases. They just know...They're so cute! I have no delusions that they have problems just like all of us do, or sometimes they say or do the wrong thing and hurt each others feelings. That's called being human. Good catch on the vegan thing, Doppel. I hadn't caught that. I don't think Nina is running off to London to visit Ian but I will keep my hopes up. As far as I can tell, here is the sequence of events: Ian and Nina were very happy around May 1 when they did the PennShoppe shoot. No troubles. They are a very touchy-feely couple and I used to contribute that mostly to Ian, but when you see Nina at the Toronto awards, she can't keep her hands off him (who could?) so it is mutual. Anyway, life is good in early May; then Ian posts that tweet about people forgetting to tell their significant others they have changed; then US Weekly and People report the split. The rest of the media I do not respect; especially Wet Paint, which is obviously trying to get hits by posting BS. But Ian did tweet that tweet and then take it down. Nina did seem to have a new attitude on her tweets -- less Picture Quote of the Day kitty related and more "I am fun, see me roar" attitude; as well as her "Don't let anyone underestimate you" quotes. I take heart in Ians quote at the CW upfronts "Wow." They have the same stylist now and I think he saw Nina and said that. Or they got in another fight and he said that; who knows.  But I realized in all of this I feel bad if she can't tweet a pic of the cat she loves without everyone thinking it means they are back together. How would you navigate that minefield? If she called it Moki would we speculate less? I don't think so. I do think, however, that this is a real life couple with much chemistry and much love for each other, so let's hope they figure it out. |

Well he hasn't moved his stuff out of her place, including his cat(s). I'd say there are signs both ways, signs of perhaps them not being happy with each other but also signs that things are not over between them so we'll just have to wait and see.
I don't know if she's going to London either but he's doing the con this weekend I guess and there is some speculation about a 'special guest' showing up who has yet to be named. This is what's being said on Twitter anyway. So, it could be her...or not. Who knows!

I didn't take the Pennshope photo shoot as a good thing at all. Nina looked bored and pissed and Ian looked just, ya know, professional. The hair touching and playful moves were not reciprocated by Nina. They didn't seem like they were together then. I'm not trying to stir things up, whatever happens happens. I just felt really uncomfortable watching the shoot and didn't take anything good from it.

I do not think they have broken up at all, too many people are putting too much stock on them being apart and the sad thing is if US Weekly had not used the fact that this year both Nina and Ian had a far more hectic schedule then usual as their reason for the spilt we would not be having this discussion, because it would still be on parr with the other hiatus TVD breaks.
The TRUE Nian fans who have followed the couple since 2010 and have noted every shedule break etc have listed everything and compared it to the US weekly and the other online taloids recycled break up news and they do not add up Penshoppe was a week before they were supposed to have broken up and after the shoot Ian left for Barcelona and from that time onwards they have been going about their shedules as normal as they have done previous years. I've seen two gossip shows who report on everything regarding show business not only stand there and inform me about the same recycled stuff reported but actually stated and I quote, the couple had confirmed their spilt. Now that should have sent warning bells to anyone who know Nian. They have done no such thing, they have yet to respond to anything printed in US Weekly.
The tabloids only treat this as news they have not done any Nian homework at all......Nian have always done random tweets but not all tweets are random, some mean somthing only to them...When Ian first starting his UK shedule he posted a photo on his instragram account and tweeted the photo, it showed his hotel bed littered with magazines, some were holiday photos of beaches. Nina has done something similiar, both have been tweeting the 1111 which is like code to them. Nina tweeted about beaches, she tweeted about printing out vicas (plural) and her last two tweets were about Moke trying to prevent her from packing her suitcase and at one point actually climbing in, like he wanted her to take him with her. Maybe to daddy Ian....lol. Only the Nian fans have been following everthing and everyone connected with these two. The tabloid reports do not tally with what is actually ocurring, as of yesterday Nina was on a 6 to 7 hour flight...destination unknown. But the Nian fans have worked out it has to be in Europe since it fits the time scale, Nina's mother is already in Europe on one of her yearly trips, Ian's mother is also supposed to be flying to Europe, Ian's dad was last sighted in Russia with Ian and his brother Rob and family are coming to promote BOB and maybe joining Ian and the other TVD cast for the convention held today in the UK.
We have to get into the habit of not believing everything a tabloid writes...even the report about them being distant at the Upfronts which is supposedly after this so called spilt is contradicted by others who were there and have stated that not only were they alright but at the party was touchy feely, Ian kissing her cheeks as they danced, again as reported by people at Penshoppe a week before this so called spilt.

I'm not one for speculating about relationships, we'll know soon enough if they're not together anymore! If they're not together in a relationship anymore then there's probably a good reason for it...if they are still in a relationship then they're probably apart due to work commitments at the moment, every couple spends time apart & has those moments where they're not 100% happy with each other I guess! I can only wish that both of them are happy in themselves & enjoying the HIATUS from TVD! |

Well, Beangelic, that's exactly what I've been saying is that there is evidence either way. Nothing is all that clear, certainly not that they broke up for sure. I am aware of all of the stuff that's 'out there' regarding Nian and the timeline and all of that, but break ups do not have to happen in person. Sure, it's ideal but when you know you're not going to be together for quite a while and you want to get it over with, it can happen by phone just as easily. Also Nina HAS had the opportunity to go be with him during this time but chose not to do so, instead doing other things with her spare time, so that doesn't add up to happy couple to me. So, I don't think a break up can be ruled out by anyone.
I'm hoping, however, that Nina and Ian do meet up and do an 'in your face' to all the gossip rags by showing all of us how together they still are. Of course those mags will just claim they've 'reunited,' so there's no winning this thing for them.
