Are these two supposed to be a couple or just friends? Seems to me they're making up a possible ship that didn't even exist in the books. Do they want to keep Delena apart that damn bad? I just want Damon with Elena, his human love, not a vampire, because he still wants to be human and it means that much more to him, but it seems they just keep screwing with DE. I wonder if I will when it comes down to it. It's been my obsession after all. But lately, like everyone else, I haven't cared as much and am sort of, meh, after I watch it, if I'm not downright pissed off like I was last week. What makes me feel the worst is that he idolized her. He put her on this high pedestal of perfection, which I know isn't really a good thing, but he did do it. You can see it in the way he looks at her. Then she does that to him. I mean will it ever be as good now as it could have been if she didn't do that to him? I really question that right now. Even if they do get together at some future time will it be like it could have been?

Depends on the motivation for her actions.

Damon has done alot of questionable things that she was able to forgive him for. Hopefully when or if we ever get her explaining herself and apologizing it could actually make it even better.
