The pic looks legit but it isn't at that link. Maybe it was removed but that wouldn't make much sense if people were wanting to do it and looking for it. From twitter, I posted the actual tweet with the photo they provided. OK, I guess they just took it right off their site then. |

When I went to the site you posted with the pic, I didn't see the pic there, which is why I asked. I assumed it was taken down because it was sold out but I couldn't verify it. I generally check links to verify stuff that is posted here and I couldn't with that link, but the tweet did it just fine. Remember to post valid links with your articles and info so that I can easily find it and don't have to ask where it came from. It would be appreciated. |

THAT link did not show the picture you posted nor did it mention KGs pics being sold out, so NO it was not valid because it didn't verify your post and YES there have been times you post things that do not have links and/or I have to go look for them. Just because I didn't ask, doesn't mean I didn't have trouble finding it, which is why I asked you to put a valid link with your stuff. If it's tumblr, or twitter then post their user name with it. Once in a while forgetting is no big deal but as a general rule I want to see sources for where things come from. That's what I do with my posts and that's what I expect from everyone else as well. What I'm seeing is a lot of chatter about things that may or may not actually be factual at times and that's what I want to avoid being posted as fact. Therefore I do fact checking on just about everything that is posted here. You've seen me do it when I correct something you've posted before. It keeps the integrity of this site above that of a rumor mill which is where I want it. Opinions, of course, are exempt from that. Sometimes we just have an opinion about something but we aren't calling it a fact. So, if you say, "I think...such and such..." that's just an opinion. If you state something as fact that's another thing entirely. This is just a reminder because we have discussed this topic before. I try to keep from having to ask for a link. So if I can find something easily I look for it but that is a waste of my time. I could just delete unvalidated claims but I'm trying to be friendly here. I'm asking you to post a link so I can easily find it. That's not asking too much. |
