Alright! Jake's back. I'm beyond excited that he's a regular now. ;D
I also like that they're exploring Cassie's darker magic side.

I see Faye & Melissa are kind of having a rocky friendship. And I'm guessing this current guy is her new love interest? .
Yes Lee is Faye's new love interest finally she's got a love interest I kept saying she was going to have a new love interest. I'm hoping it lasts but I kind of don't trust Lee something about him but maybe he will turn out to be a great guy....Honestly my problem with Melissa is she's still hung up over Nick. For the viewer, Nick was a dick. Nothing that left an impression for us to be suffering through Melissa's attitude over him still. And yeah, something does seem pretty shifty about him but we'll see. He knows about Witches (in his family I think he said?) but for all we know, he could be another Dawn/Charles with maybe seeing the Circle as a means to another end due to their power. Elders need to tighten up too. They sent Henry and he ended up dead, Grandma Blake (can't remember this woman's first name for the life of me) is damaged goods now due to Charles' shoddy mind wipe and then Charles' mom was tempting fate by messing around and trying to test Cassie's power. Sure she's going to report back now but they need to stop sending singles to investigate. Also, they're aware of Cassie but what kind of ripple will the news of a 2nd Blackwell cause? Do they even know like the Witch Hunters? Jake is probably back to scout out who it is as well. |

You know, I WANT to love this show but I still feel I could easily drop it. I don't know if you've seen the photocap review, but at the end he lists some of his problems with the show and I agree with nearly all his points to varying degrees. review here: www.tv.com/news/the-secret-circle-the-dark-is-rising-photo-recap-27511/And Nick was a jerk. Those screen caps were just  First one of Adam makes me want to  In regards to Adam & Cassie, I could agree with this: I'd find a brother-sister relationship between these two much more compelling than a romanceAlso, these 2 so much: 1. The binding of the circle has been a disaster so far. Don't tell me this is a show about witches and then systematically remove their powers. This is a show about a secret group of teenagers who use magic and the dramatic tension that arises between them. Be about that. 2. If the idea is that the kids are powerful together, then show it. I don't think we've seen a satisfying use of group magic since the kids sent their stalker to the ceiling in Episode 3. And don't tell me teens wouldn't have tons of uses for even petty spells (athletic advantage, natural perms, winning scratchers). If their magic has to be a consensus, then show them doing it council-style, where they each bring a wishlist of spells, debate them, and then vote. I don't know, just more magic please! The Secret Circle has fallen into a bad habit of telling us the witches are witches rather than showing us. ===== The show really does need more magic and consolidating their individual power to the Circle just doesn't work. Cassie being the sole user kind of now because of her Dark Magic is kind of tackling the issue and I'm hoping Faye trying to gain some power helps out on this front but really, it was a bad idea to bind. If anything, it's a subtle reason to keep the SFX budget in check. |

Adam > He wanted Diana to talk to Cassie to stop avoiding/blowing off his advances cause Cassie was worried about Diana's feelings? He was just horrible this episode. Also, his dad apparently has been off alcohol and is trying to be better after his talk with Diana about 'Fate' and Adam is blowing him off? C'mon  He's really trying. Adam's "Your Destiny is important to me" BS crap   line he dropped before the kiss. I was GLAD when Jake came down the steps. Really enjoying the Diana & Melissa moments. Thought Faye was kind of overstepping when she called out Melissa on her choice in guys only because Melissa is *STILL* (ugh) caught up in Nick's demise (please get over it now). I do kind of feel for Faye though when she went on her rant about Cassie being innocent but whenever she does something, she gets burned at the stake. Still, her obsession with power is getting out of hand and now she's blowing off the group after they scolded her for stealing the group's magic. Hanging out with Lee (?) as a result...he's up to something. He just seems really shady/manipulative now and I'm hoping that Jake punches a hole in whatever he's up to (or Melissa comes around to wanting to help her friend). |

I'm not liking lee too much I don't trust him and as far as the annoying one Cassie goes I agree 100 no 300% with Faye.
I feel,sorry for her too I hope she goes back to circle soon if she's even truly done with them.
I know Faye in the books leaves them for awhile and than asks to come back in later on..

Standing there by the center 'fire' at the dance and watching Diana like a hawk and then afterwards, asking her to talk to Cassie so he can get in with her? What the hell Adam? He gets jealous of both of them if they're with someone else. Watch Faye come back around with Lee and Adam show some more jealousy. |
