So they are going to go the Black Canary route with Laurel + a double date is happening: Speaking of Black Canary, you've had some nods, but will we actually see her slip into those fishnets by the end of Season 1?Yeah. We always say it's not going to be as soon as you want, but it's probably going to be a lot sooner than you think. That's been our mantra. You will definitely continue to see the nods to Dinah "Laurel" Lance's future persona, but I think it's going to play out in a surprising way for the audience. We're really excited about it. More spoilerish (?) stuff at TVGuide

TBH, I think I ship Oliver with the IT girl. I like Helena, but her and Oliver feels rushed. There was no build up. Sort of like another couple I could name And I still don't like Laurel so it's Oliver and the IT girl (whose name I don't know ) I didn't like this last episode as much.

Yep, that instant connection in one episode. Great, you have someone to talk to that understands where you're coming from but the woman is reckless and almost killed your mother. Knowing that, there should have been some reluctance in hooking right up with the girl. Maybe 2-3 episodes of her getting her foot in the door, then come back later in the season/next season and fall in like they're going now.
If it wasn't so wrong, Oliver should hook up with Thea. IT Girl also needs more screen time. Oliver should go to her asking if she can program his watch or something. Just the stupidest excuse to get her back on. Or ask her if she wants a side job to be his 'tech expert' and she works alongside Dig.

OMG I would totally ship Oliver with Thea but I can't so it's IT girl for me. I hope I learn her name at some point. I'd love to see her get more screen time. She could be the tech person on their team. And you're right about Helena. That's how it should have been done. It also should have taken longer for them to find out each other's identity.

I'm sorry, but Ewwww, they're brother and sister and I don't go there. I don't even see why anyone would ship them. They act like brother and sister to me.

Well I don't actually ship them because like you said, brother and sister NO WAY. In the first few episodes, I thought they had more romantic chemistry than Oliver and Laurel. But they've been acting more brother and sister like recently

F' Yes! Crixus is coming to Arrow! Spartacus fan favorite Manu Bennett has been cast in a major role in The CW’s breakout superhero drama. Bennett, best known as Sparty’s right-hand man and sometimes adversary on the Starz action series, is playing Slade Wilson on Arrow. For fans of the Green Arrow comics, that character is a big one. In the comics, Wilson eventually becomes a major villain in the franchise — Deathstroke (whom we’ve already seen briefly in a flashback, masked, played by another actor). Like with the question of if/when Laurel Lance will become the Black Canary, sources won’t comment on whether Wilson will become Deathstroke, an insider simply said, “You’ll just have to keep watching Arrow.†Here’s what we can tell you: As seen in flashbacks, Slade Wilson and Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) will form an uneasy alliance on the island of Lian Yu. The buffed-out Bennett will make for a potentially physically worthy adversary for star Amell on the series, which has been on a strong casting streak lately. John Barrowman has been a welcome addition, and Jessica De Gouw showed some compelling chemistry with Amell this week. Bennett is currently committed to appearing in multiple episodes of the show. He will also appear in the upcoming final season of Spartacus, and has a role as an orc chieftain in The Hobbit. Arrow airs Wednesdays on The CW. EWOne of my favorite characters on Spartacus.

Crixus!
I liked him on Spartacus! Even though I only really watched S1. I didn't know that they were going to do a S3.
And he's in the The Hobbit? I'll have to look out for him.

S1 > Prequel > S2 > S3 (starts in Jan) S3 will be the final season. I do have to say though, the show just really isn't the same without Andy The new guy they have playing Spartacus...I don't know, the same spark isn't there and he was never going to fill the shoes for the role that Andy left. S1 was just so good with the characters, story and casting.

I actually made a mental note to remember it for when I posted later Glad to be able to put a name to the face now. She hates mysteries so after Walter went to her before about the money, she still tracked down some info. Still waiting for her to fall in with Oliver Awkward ass dinner with the double date

I did the same thing when I heard her name! I need her to be Oliver's IT girl She can be the person that he lets in, as Dig was saying. So Helena knows Oliver's secret and where his secret hideout is but now is off on her own revenge thing. It would have been better if they had dragged it out a bit.

I expect her to go elsewhere, get in trouble, and then come back to Oliver for help. She's proven to be reckless so she'll step in it somewhere else. Sucks too cause Oliver really did try to help her but she's just gone. Hell bent.
I think some of the problem with Felicity being Oliver's IT Girl is that Oliver has shown to be computer competent...except for when it came to that laptop. I expect when the stuff hits the fan with Walter & her working the angle on the book/group and Oliver catches wind of the book, they'll cross paths.

...I don't know what the hell to think: Colton Haynes ("Teen Wolf") has joined the cast of the CW's "Arrow", TV Guide reports. He'll play none other than longtime Green Arrow sidekick Roy Harper. First appearing under the name Speedy in 1941's "More Fun Comics" #73, Harper has also been known as the superhero Arsenal and, for a time, Red Arrow. The official description for the TV version of Harper calls him, "a handsome, street-savvy, teenager from 'the Glades,' the harsh, poverty-stricken portion of Starling City." It is also noted that Haynes will serve as a love interest for Thea Queen (Willa Holland). SuperheroHypeIs this what he left Teen Wolf for or did the 'lead' role he was going for fall through and he jumped on this instead of going back to Teen Wolf? So I guess since Thea has the nickname Speedy (who he's going to be an interest to), they'll just give him the 'Red Arrow' name for now.
