This board has the ability for each and every one of you to choose your own custom skin/background of your preference out of a selection we will be putting online. This one will remain the default skin.
We'll be creating some more over the next little while. Once we have some other selections, they will be available in your profile to change the outward appearance of your own user interface. You can thank Princess of Darkness (HighxonxDelena/Pinksmoke) for volunteering to head this up and create some for us. Thank you! You're the best! If you like her signatures, I can't wait to see what she comes up with for backgrounds for us!

 lol. I recently switched my username, didn't think it would confuse anyone, as my icon still says highxonxdelena. Anyways, it will take some time, but yes, it's safe to assume that it will be a mixture of ships/characters/etc-- not limited to those that I like. |

So I just discovered the 'Black' skin and don't know when it was added. Needs a few tweaks though, such as with quoting. It doesn't show a border for quoted material so it kind of all just runs together with what the other poster has written. Maybe needs some gray mixed in or something but otherwise, the black and red is nice.

Maybe needs some gray mixed in or something but otherwise, the black and red is nice. I made a few adjustments. The problem with the quoting is in order to have their be a box around it, then the entire board ends up having table borders of another color, it appears, as a change there changes the entire thing, I think. So..hmmm...the black background becomes problematic for that. It looks like crap with a border. Lemme try the dark red and see how that looks. |

Red is out but I went with a super dark gray. I still don't like the boxy look but it will show up the quotes better and the posts won't run together.

I think the default skin is pretty slick, and I'm very picky. You don't want to go too dark. Emoticons are outlined in black so when they're against a dark background they lose definition. Sent from my SPH-D710 using ProBoards |

Yeah, I personally prefer the default/light background but some people like a darker one so we now have the other and will add more here and there so people have choices.
