Probably because of the shock of the rest of it. We'll see what happens as people digest the entire episode and what it means to their prospective ships.

There was definitely some nice DS development in this episode though and I like that Damon has committed himself to helping Stefan 'kick' this ripper thing. It would be good if he could live as normal a life as a vampire can without that monkey on his back. I do believe that Damon can do it as long as Stefan is fully committed to doing it, too.
