 I thought we needed a pretty picture with our morning coffee.  I saw this somewhere else and thought it was funny how they are standing there with the same look on their faces. Yup, they do look like brothers in this picture. |

Love that picture. And the brothers. Best relationship on the show, IMO. And by best I mean: most interesting, complex one. There are just so many facets to their relationship and I feel like there is so much that can be explored with these two. I hope we get more scenes between them in the back half of S3. Their interaction is something I miss dearly.

I've always loved the flashbacks, especially Defan scenes. It was nice to see how different Damon used to be.

I think he's still that way deep down. He was a more open person back then, before he got so badly hurt. Now he's been hidden behind his wall of protection and he's just starting to let it down a little for Elena so we see glimpses of the old Damon here and there.
