Wouldn't it be so romantic if Caroline serenaded Klaus  I'm sure it would melt his heart and he wouldn't be mad at her anymore. Candice voice isn't half bad. |

You know what's weird? I can totally see that happening with those two. I can even see them doing karaoke night...haha Klaus...he turned out to be some sappy love dude didn't he?
I can't decide if I like it or I don't like it myself. He used to scare the crap out of me with that voice of his. Now he's not so scary anymore.

I don't like this relationship. I think it's impractical and unrealistic. I hate that it came out of absolutely nowhere, and I think it makes Caroline look ridiculous. I mean Klaus is only the sole reason why most of the people she knows are either dead or f*^*cked, but yet some how he's worthy of her time and attention? She should be running in the opposite direction... I'm usually all for these polar opposite relationships, but to me this one doesn't even begin to make sense. CA and JM have chemistry I'll admit, but it's not enough for me to forget the actual story. Klaus is a villain and he's done horrible things to people around her, has shown no remorse for any of it, and has complete conviction in all of his evil deeds. I don't know what I'm supposed to be getting from this "pairing" or this "connection." It's like the writers took a trip to fan-fiction land when they came up with this.
Sorry for my negativity. LOL Seems like most people like these two. But that's just my take on it.

Caroline in her entirety has felt 'off' to me this season and this is kind of the least bothersome thing about her so I'm OK with it if it's done right. I do think it's kind of fast paced sort of cause he shows up at her front door to save her life after he was the one who told Tyler to bite her and now he's trying to hook up with her in the course of about 3 episodes. Was him telling Tyler to bite her his 'ice breaker' or what?  He was going to use her in the sacrifice and now he's fallen for her and wants to show her the world? I want to see where this goes but I don't want it to be sloppy/rushed. |

For me the problem is Klaus is a one dimensional character and giving him a love interest and making him draw is supposed to be the writers way of making him more well rounded, but instead it just looks ridiculous. Klaus is supposed to be a villain, he's past the point of being redeemed and I wish they'd understand that after all the crap he's done (and I won't even list them all, cause I'll be here all night), that it's unrealistic for him to have any connection with any of the MF gang. I'm sorry but this pairing just makes Caroline look very shallow and superficial... Like none of the crap he's done means anything because he brought her a dress, a diamond bracelet, and drew her with a horse. It's like no problem, you only attempted to kill my best friends, killed Jenna, forced Stefan to go on a killing spree, turned and sired Tyler, but none of that matters! I mean can we have the characters react realistically for a change? This is what single handedly ruined Caroline's character for me for good! |

If you haven't realized by now, the Writers have a hard time keeping up/consistent with their own characters/show. Caroline has been all kinds of weird for me this season and I loved her in S2. The Writers have undone a lot of that with this season, same for Tyler. Them throwing Klaus onto the pile isn't any worse for me with all the other stuff they've been doing with her so it's kind of past the point of being 'silly' for me and now 'par the course' for this season with her character.

Holy  ! Spoiler!? I kind of thought there had to be something more to Klaus' interest in Caroline as of late since he got on Elijah's case about 'love' but I'd have liked to have seen it revealed as we went along. The damage is done already. Where's a table for me to flip the over? |
