Did you see the 'whale' video? There is a woman's voice very close that does sound alot like Alexis. IF Ian took her to the aquarium or wherever that was and then was seen after with her, it makes sense. She's into albino animals for some reason, but, eh, to each her own, right?
If Ian is seeing Alexis it was well after they split at the beginning of May so calling him any names about it is just wrong. Is he supposed to stay single forever or chase after Nina to win her back? I don't think so! She blindsided him with 'something' and it was bad enough to cause the split so if anyone wants to blame anyone it should be Nina, but it's better not to blame anyone at all because we just don't know anything. My comments have been on her behavior not knowing for sure if they were over and even if they were, I still found it inappropriate for her to be flaunting her singleness like an 'in your face' to Ian, because she is in the public eye and that's what it looked like. If Ian is/was seeing Alexis or anyone else at least he had the decency not to flaunt it in Nina's face. That's just how I see it.
It made Nina come off badly and with little sympathy for her as having also just suffered a breakup and you can see it in the remarks at JJ. There's alot of negativity about her behavior and hardly anyone applauding her for her ability to move on except the Ian haters.

Okay...that's weird. It looks like he removed the 'whale' video. It won't load on my computer now.

Yup I saw the whale video! & the whole backlash that followed but I can't say I noticed a woman's voice in the clip (I probably wasn't paying that much attention)...I understand people being annoyed about animals in captivity & with Ian being all about the planet etc they think its hypocritical behaviour that he filmed them...I think he was just having fun & letting his hair down, as long as those animals in captivity are taken care of to the highest standards I can see why Ian wouldn't have an issue with filming them...a lot of whales in captivity were more than likely born there, I see that yes they should be in the wild but if they were born in captivity then they would not survive in the wild. They're in zoo's/aquariums to inform & teach about planet earth...Ian's proper into the teaching aspect about the planet isn't he?!
I dunno why people hate on people so much. If they're not directly impacting your life just let the hate & anger go! It's so negative & can't do your state of mind ANY good. I dislike people yes, but I don't hate anyone! Negativity is something I try to keep out of my life so much...& people always applaud my positive outlook. I can literally put a positive spin on anything (within reason!)...
If Ian has chosen to befriend Alexis then I think that's nice, he must really like her if he chooses to spend his free time with her. I can't see Ian spending his down time with anyone who doesn't enrich his experience (if you get me) I don't think he would spend his free time with someone who was an "airhead" for example, he'd want someone smart who is able to have intellectual conversation & make him laugh! So if he is choosing to spend his time with Alexis he must think a lot of her :0) whether its a special friendship or potential romance who knows?!
The double standards just get on my last nerve! It annoys me how people judge one for doing something yet don't judge the other for practically the same thing...

Yeah we have Sea World here and the whales are born in captivity and I don't think they'd know how to feed themselves if they were set free, but I do agree it would be better if we didn't do that to them. We have plenty of media now so that we can capture them in their natural habitat for us to see and learn about them. But Ian didn't capture them so whatever...I like to see him just enjoying himself without having to add in that he doesn't think they should be in captivity but we already KNOW that he would say that.
I used to live by a marine wildlife place where the dolphins were set free every night after the place closed, but they'd be back every morning for food. So that was sort of voluntary captivity, I guess you could say. I think alot of these animals would not know what to do in the wild so would it really be better for them at this point? Not ever capturing them at all would be the best option.

Exactly!
Wild animals should NOT be in captivity at all but at the end of the day they are & there's not much that can be done about it...it's fun to go to the zoo/aquarium & of course Ian likes to have fun just like the next person...the best that can come of animals in captivity is that they educate the younger generation to take care of the planet & encourage them to see animals in the wild! & I suspect Ian stands for that kind of education too...
I saw pilot whales & dolphins in the wild for the 1st time this year (I'm 28) & it was breath taking :0)...

There's another place near here where they have a spring that fills with manatees early in the year because the water temperature stays warmer there in the spring (it never changes) so they have a glass wall under the water so we can watch them and yet they are free. So that works nicely as well. Sadly the manatees are very slow moving and endangered due to speed boats slashing them up with their motors. It's a big problem. You hardly see one without deep gashes in their back or missing parts of their tails, etc.

I saw Manatees when I visited Florida one time! They're beautiful but again human beings encroaching on their natural habitat cause them to be hurt all the time. It really sucks :0( we humans really take the mickey don't we?!

If we don't become more aware of what effect we are having on it and do something about it, eventually the 'host' will die.

Whenever Mother Nature throws something at us like Tsunami's, Tornadoes, Earthquakes etc I just think it's Mother Nature whooping our butt's for taking advantage of the planet so much!

I think it's short sighted to think that what we do won't have an effect and cause some of these weather changes and such. I may not agree with everything we get blamed for but this planet is alive and has a delicate balance which we keep upsetting. Anyway, WAY off topic, I guess.
