Probably both. I knew he had put on weight for Anomaly and I didn't like that as well, but now he has lost it and then some.

They had asked him to gain 30 lbs for Anomaly. It seems like in Hollywood they want bulky guys for heroes/main men and Ian mentioned that before that he got turned down because he wasn't big enough so now he at least keeps his arms bulked up so that probably helps but he just shouldn't get too skinny and I think he fights that because of his diet and what he normally eats. Nobody gets fat on fish. Throw in a little sadness and he's probably eating even worse.

Tom Cruise is like 5 foot 6 so I don't know. There's lots of not so big leading men out there but some of them in hollywood who are casting have this perception of what they want. To me Ian is perfect for anything.
