Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) delivers some disturbing news to Alaric (Matt Davis) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) about the weapon used in a recent murder. In the Salvatore brothers’ escalating quest to kill Klaus (Jospeh Morgan), Stefan (Paul Wesley) turns to Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Abby (guest star Persia White), while Damon (Ian Somerhalder) reaches out to an old acquaintance for help in setting up an elaborate plan. Intent on a plan of his own, Klaus hosts a strange dinner party, where he reveals another story from his family’s violent past until an unexpected guest brings the party to an end. Meanwhile, Caroline (Candice Accola) is heartbroken when she is unable to stop a tragedy from unfolding. Zach Roerig also stars. Jeffrey Hunt directed the episode written by Turi Meyer & Al Septien (#313). I hope the Sheriff doesn't die....how else can Caroline be heartbroken. ;/ Or Tyler and I think the unexpected Guest will be Rebekah and the Old Acquaintance Damon goes to will be no other then Katherine ;D

the old acquaintance is no other then Elijah. you get that from the preview when they are talking. Caroline will most likely be heart broken over her father and Tyler. and i really hope the unexpected guest is rebekah lol someone snuck in and undaggered her? lol

Oh darn, it I hope Elijah doesn't join forces with Klaus against the gang. After all, Damon undaggered him. He owes him for that, doesn't he? Klaus is the reason he was daggered to begin with. He can't be trusted by Elijah! This is why I'm glad Damon only undaggered Elijah and not the rest of them. There's just no way to know where their alliance will land. Even Elijah was a gamble, but based on the past he has been willing to ally against Klaus.

Really hoping Elijah won't get sucked in by Klaus again. Damon said it before...fool me once.......

I keep hearing that there will be this epic showdown between Klaus and Elijah and that would be really sweet so hopefully that's how it plays out because let's face it, if Elijah joins forces with Klaus, poor little MF is doomed.
