So, I don't see the gang tackling the entire family since their plan seems to amount to squat now and if the Originals are staying in town, what kind of relationship will develop from here on out with the individuals? Klaus is obviously not on any good terms with any one from the group. Elijah is probably on good terms due to wakening the others but also seems to be the most reasonable as far as the group's encounters with Originals go. Bekah is a no-go or needs a Twelve 12 Program to step away from killing Elena so I don't imagine she's going to be nice to them. That leaves us with 3 wild cards. Esther, Kol (forgot the 'old world' spellings) and 'Finn'. Esther can go either way. Maybe she's got a power game in mind and has no regard for the gang or Elena or maybe she'll have something in store for Elena. Don't know. Kol has been dagger'd for 900 years. I don't think he has much to do outside of family matters and getting up to date. He might be a bit more open to 'hanging out' with a new generation as he hasn't seen any of the ones in between. Finn has been dagger'd for 100 years so he's just short of Bekah. Obviously, the other 2 Brothers are kind of an unknown cause we don't know how their personalities play out aside from hating Klaus. I'm just wondering now how we'll see the Family interact as individuals. If Klaus is still causing trouble (might still have a bone to pick with Stefan or Stefan may still want to play his little games), would the Gang be able to say "Hey, Elijah/Kol/Finn/Esther, we'd appreciate Klaus being kept in check" if something hits the fan and Damon would be able to keep Stefan in line in turn. I know Klaus will be keeping Bekah in check himself cause of his prized Doppelganger

I am concerned that given that they are badly outnumbered that the Salvatores have to agree to Klaus' terms about Elena. Esther will try the 'woman's touch' approach by wanting to meet with her and appeal to her as a woman and wanting peace for the ones they love, but that all in all that's what's going to happen for now.
All Esther wants it seems is for her family to be whole again and live their lives so I don't see her having an issue with supporting what Klaus wants in that regard. Then Elena will do it because of course she wants to keep everyone safe so the triangle winds up on hold but that sends the Salvatore boys into a fit.

I guess lucky Matt in that case As for Esther, I think the Hybrids holding any interest to her in the key question here. They're useless. I think between the Original Family w/ a thousand+ year old Witch at the head, that'd be sufficient enough and then you have some of the connections they've built up over the ages (mainly Klaus, Elijah and maybe Finn). Esther could say the Hybrids aren't needed but could let Klaus keep it as a 'pet side project' if it'd appease him or something. Just wondering where they're going to go with this aspect. I kind of imagine that forcing the Salvatores to back off simply because they're outnumbered by the Family wouldn't be a good thing because it's Elena and both Brothers would probably sink towards that 'unhinged' state. We see how Stefan has been with wanting Klaus out of the picture and I think the last thing Elena would need in all this if things get worse is Damon relapsing of sorts into old ways. All this could be put on hold though after Alaric's attack and the Gang might be asking a or the Originals for some help in the matter if they start fearing for others.

Yeah, lucky Matt and it does seem his role is going to increase more in the future the way they brought those two together more lately. Klaus thinks he needs his minions even if they are a giant fail. He's kind of the evil mastermind type that way. He has to have his underlings to feel important. I don't think Esther will bother too much about it and she'll indulge him to make peace in the family AND as you say, there may be more reasons for keeping Elena alive since it was Doppelganger blood that made alot of this stuff possible and has sealed crucial spells for them. Here's a crazy notion, what if the gang decides they need to reverse the vampire spell to, in essence, take away the Originals power, but by doing so, they themselves would revert back to normal humans. Wouldn't that be a kick? Didn't they say it was Doppelganger blood that sealed the spell that made them vampires? So it's Doppelganger blood that would reverse it. But, ewww, what if they all just died, turned to dust if the spell was reversed? It also seems to make sense that the Doppelganger needed 'guardians' of sorts to protect her whenever she appeared, the role of the Salvatores which could very likely be part of a spell. As for the murders, well, there's only so many council members to kill off. Since they are being killed in rather ordinary ways it seems like a human is doing it to me, but other than Meredith, who now has an alibi being in surgery, we don't really have any random people who would have a motive to kill them other than Klaus himself, but he offered them a deal and Stefan, who didn't really answer the question did he? I just don't think it's him though. Bekah was staked during some of it so nope...and Katherine really has no reason why she'd do it, so I really have no clue.

I saw in a future episode description that Elena sees there is a huge Power struggle between the original family, so something must not be so great within the family from what we will see. ESTHER WANTS to speak to Elena on who knows what. Maybe she wants to kill Klaus after all maybe catch him off guard. Imagine, she wants to seal his curse once again meaning Elena will have to die.

I really don't want to see them start messing with the Vampire > Human thing so I hope that's not what this eventually leads to for them to deal Klaus/the Originals. At the same time, I understand now that there is a key importance to the doppelganger since it was Tatia who's blood was used to complete the transition for the Originals *AND* seal Klaus' curse but I feel like there is a bit too much importance placed on the Petrova/Elena. Come full circle and Elena is not only the key to Klaus' army but his and his family's destruction/undoing as well? C'mon now...have to remember as well that this is a time where 2 Petrovas are present, one being what the Original was used to create.
I think this is a fault of the way the show has been going with the Originals. They've built them up so highly, mainly Klaus, that they've got to find *SOMETHING* for the group to do to bring them down instead of letting them be now. I'd rather something bigger and badder come along and knock them down a peg but the show has kind of thrown the 'Top Dog' at us early on so it's kind of a mess. Look at Mikael for instance. Touted to be some big baddie that Klaus and the rest of the family was afraid of (look at Elijah's expression when he found out), would destroy anyone who got involved with him according to Anna's warnings, and even fed on Vampires. What came of that? Squat. So in a way, although I think from a story perspective, it'd be interesting with the whole Petrova angle, I'd rather see them retain that 'power' and be stepped over by another being on the scale or end up in an civil war amongst each other rather than shrunken down for their own removal.
Last paragraph is a whole bunch of nonsense by the way.

Most of what I write is a whole bunch of nonsense. I guess all we can do is brainstorm different ideas because it could go any direction. Yeah it appears there will be some strife in the family at first but I think Momma Original's goal is to unite them, as she said, and I think she'll accomplish that once they settle down. I mean 900 years in a casket?! I'd want his damn head!

Momma Salvatore? What?
And yes, Kol I think isn't going to let this go. He's been in a box for 900 years and I think it was Esther or someone else that mentioned they may be just over 1000 years old give or take so Kol has been down most of their existence. Everyone else has been up and about for some extended time (everyone else was only put down within the past 100 years, 2 of them multiple times). He'll probably be butting heads with Klaus a lot over this.
And if there is a power struggle, wonder what it's over. Klaus has seen himself as the 'head' for some time so I wouldn't be surprised if he's at the center of the family not being united. He's a control freak. I imagine the Dead Witches will have a bone to pick as well with Esther. Maybe Esther will be looking for a way to increase her own power or to give the family itself a boost. The Original Petrova was used to turn them and now the one who conducted the spell in the first place is alive in a time when there are 2 more Petrovas to use, one of them still being human.

Well unlike some of you guys, I really want to see what is the whole purpose of the petrova bloodline.
Maybe she was just used coincidental and because her blood had to do with creating them into vampires it was also needed to curse Klaus and break the curse since it is all connected.
I would like more info on it. I find it quite interesting. And it is true they have thrown us already with the top dog. Who knows maybe Mikael somehow is not dead and that weapon was only meant to be used specifically from Klaus. or Maybe there are other steaks like that,
Mikael did have an issuance policy with that thing and all as leverage so there has to be something that is going on.
Also wasn't it Finn that was locked down for 900 years and Kol for a little over a century.(Remember the clothing they had on, Finn's clothing did look older
What I want to know is, Elijah was with Klaus up until Katherine was turned, which was more then 500 years. Was he already aware of Klaus' supposably killing one of their brothers? In season 2 he did tell Elena that over the centuries Klaus has hunted them one by one and throwing them into the sea.
Also wasn't there suppose to be a flashback of Kol and Katherine before she met Klaus and before she had her baby or something, or did that end up being false.
Sorry my thoughts are everywhere haha

I want to see where the Petrova thing goes but I don't want it to end a certain way if that's understandable.
And just looked at the TVD Wikia and they do say that Kol was dagger'd in the early 1900s so yes, Finn would be Mr. 900. My mistake. He did seem a bit more pissed.
Klaus has been a known liar. I don't know why he'd tell Elijah that he scattered the family's remains to the sea. It was only going to piss him off and get him to try to kill Klaus. And Elijah may or may not have known about it that early on. He'd have to have known Klaus was towing around 2 coffins at the time (Esther & Finn) but the coffins looked a bit more 'modern' so I'm kind of confused about Esther if hers was sealed by magic. And he may have only found out what happened when he split. Maybe going to check up on Finn and finding out he had disappeared. Bekah knew what Klaus was doing when she was first dagger'd and she was dagger'd just shortly after Kol but I wonder if Kol knew that Klaus would come for him if he did or didn't know about Finn's whereabouts. And why Finn so early? A good 800 years before Klaus downed another member. Sidetracked by the Curse or what?
I'd like the 500 years ago/Katherine thing looked into more. Where was Bekah?

I'm guessing Finn & maybe even Kol were closer to Mikael? Mikael was probably keeping the Brothers from getting along so with both parents 'out of the way', they'd be able to unite. And if Klaus lied about their Mother dying and instead had her imprisoned, this could probably explain Mikael's pursuit, aside from just wanting to kill Klaus. He possibly knew she was imprisoned and was trying to track down Klaus so he could get her back while none of the children knew, maybe except for Finn if he was closer to Mikael and would be a reason why Klaus dagger'd him so early. Finn & Kol split when Esther had supposedly died so...a lot of holes to fill and I hope the Writers don't skimp.

My internet went poof on me for a minute there...I meant Momma Original. Though I'd like to see who Momma Salvatore was. But even in the books there isn't much about her.

Yea I hope this episode coming up they explain what really happened with Esther. Because if Klaus did happen to Imprison Esther, what witch helped him spel bind it? Or after he killed her, maybe Ayanna had put a spell on Esther not to die but Klaus didnt want to wake her so thats why he carried her everywhere. Who knows

Ok, if Esther was trying to free herself to unite the family, why hamper Klaus this entire time, if she wasn't dead? We've brought up the Hybrids thing and we have to remember she tried to lie to him about how to create them (Elena's blood). Has she been trying to keep her children 'leveled' so to speak so when she came back, there wasn't so much as a power struggle between them, let alone, her?
Klaus obviously has a fear of his Brothers & Sister, more so the Brothers, so is him becoming a Hybrid somewhat of his way of getting the upper hand (without dropping the fear of them)? His Hybrid 'army' amounts to squat though as Damon/Stefan/Jeremy have made short work of them on multiple occasions and even Mikael already found a loophole in their design that Klaus' other siblings can take advantage of just as well (compulsion). The more I think about it, the more confident I am in the conclusion that the whole 'Hybrid Army' thing should have never been included. It makes sense for Klaus (fear of the other Originals and wanting to be above them) but not so much for the cannon fodder they've been throwing at us.
Also, I think the main problem the Witches had before with Esther turning her family was that they would be the first truly 'immortal' race. Humans, Werewolves and Witches are all mortal. Witches can extend their lifetime as we've seen with Gloria and I doubt Werewolves share the trait of immortality or slowed aging so I think the 'eternal life' aspect was the biggest concern with the Witches way back then, no less Esther herself is still alive through magic so she's kind of 'cheated death' like her family.
There was something else I was going to bring up but I seem to have lost my train of thought...-_-

Well according to Zap it Esther like everyone else in Mystic Falls comes with a secret agenda lol and Elena will need to be the one to pull it off. As well as Bonnie and Abby so wonder what it is.
