I just remembered why Caroline has such a bitch attitude towards Damon He had used her all that time and she remembered it after turning Yes, it's because of what he did to her when she was compelled, specifically I think all the bites because really it's not like he had to compel her for the sex. But he did compel her not to tell anyone about the bites/that he was a vampire and then he tried to kill her but she was vervained. He tried to kill her twice actually, the second time with a stake that Elena got in front of. Ah, those were the days. |

I'd say he's making strides but I think Caroline is one of those characters who hasn't brushed what he's done under the rug. The Vicki thing? Dead and buried. Mason? Outta here! Snapping Jeremy's neck and watching him fold like an accordion? That's in the past. Killing Alaric twice, once for being a dick? Lets have a drink.
Caroline is just pissed cause she doesn't want Elena to have Damon when Damon used her to get to Elena. She secretly wants Damon.
I feel sorry for Caroline if that's the reputation she has about sleeping around.
"Hey guys, I'm going out with Caroline Forbes."
"Congratulations on the sex."
"We haven't had sex yet. We just started dating an hour ago."
"It's GUARANTEED. Standard with the model."

Just as odd. Other girls have been jumping at Damon whereas Elena has been constantly stepping away and even with all this attention, Damon keeps going after Elena. Maybe he likes that she isn't jumping at him and likes the challenge? But doesn't explain the 'Stefan this, Stefan that'. Wouldn't Stefan be pulling in more tail/attention in that regard?

I really don't get the Brothers in that regard. I can understand Stefan, when he was with Elena and all but Damon's pining for her when he's had multiple girls come his way is beyond me. Screw and that's it at the most a majority of the time. Not a chance to see if this girl would be right for him. Just had to be all about Elena who hardly gives the guy the time of day and scolds him for every little thing. Stefan's record of attracting the 'bad girls', a.k.a. Bekah & Katherine is an oddity, especially since one was attracted to the Ripper and the other was attracted to the 'good' Stefan. Now he won't blink an eye at either of them. I swear, if I was friends with either of them (have to be some cruel hand dealt for me to be Stefan's friend), I'd be constantly pestering them to put in a good word for me for the ones they turned down I don't get them and it's mind boggling how the relationships or who's eying who is set up in this series at times, mainly in relation to the Brothers and how they handle it |

Caroline I guess from the beginning was a flirtatious whore lol i say it with love btw haha so I guess thats why its nothing new to us when she does go and do these things but everyone shares everyone on his show. lol

This society always tears down the women! We tend to hold onto our male leads and bash the woman as if she is villain!
I'm not used to it myself because I literally hold onto and protect my female leads from previous shows. No one messed with Joey Potter and no one sure as hell better mess with Brooke Davis! My all time favorite character on OTH is Brooke Davis!
I know Elena is one of my faves but I don't wish to hold onto her like I did Joey and Brooke. I do not want people to label her in a sexual manner though! That pisses me off!

But in all honesty I find women doing it to women not just with Tv shows but in reality. We are so much more harsher to our own sex than we are to the opposite. We judge our sex much harsher. Women are womens own worst enemies. This coming from a girl who finished all of HS and some college and has two older sisters! Oh and a mom who thinks she is in competition with her daughters.   |

Some women look at others a bit too much with envy and or jealousy for whatever reason: style/fashion/what they own, 'assets', their BF, etc.. I've had female friends in HS who preferred hanging out with guys because it's saves them the trouble off all that 'BS' with the other girls. But me being me and not having problems with anyone, I'd most likely be friends with some of those other girls and hear some of the nasty stuff they say about other girls I'm friends with. Nothing too pleasant about the ones who just like to hang out with guys (calling them 'hoes'). Hell, just looking at what some of my female friends on FB post it just seems second-nature for some to just hate another female over some stupid s***.

It's so funny because I walked away from HS with 1, yes 1 gril that was my friend! But like 8 guys! It's crazy! I hated hanging with girls. They sucked. Always talked crap, stabbed you in the back. The girls I am close to are like me. So we just mesh well. But put a girl between two beautiful guys the guys will be loved and adored and the girl thrashed! And then the two guys debated over by the adoring fans! |

Yes, I think women are worse in that regard. Women will backstab each other, criticize each other harshly, expect perfection from each other, try to steal each other's man and are jealous of any woman they deem more attractive than themselves, alot of it is done behind the other one's back. In essence there's a heck of alot more deceit and manipulation going on. With guys if they don't like you or are otherwise pissed off at you, you'll know it when their fist connects with your face. Or they'll tell you flat out. They're just alot more straight forward about it, in any case. I've never met a guy who got caught up in other guys appearance the way women do, not a straight guy anyway. It's just not the way they look at the world around them and for some women it's the ONLY way they look at the world around them, that they have to be better than everyone in every way or they're going to cut everyone else down. Season 1 Caroline was probably the closest example in the show to what alot of women behave like in real life in that regard, gossiping and complaining about the other women around them like it's normal behavior and you always have to wonder, well not really wonder, but know, that they're doing it to you when you're not there, too. Who do you think are buying all those rag magazines at the cash register? It isn't men! |
