Gosh darn Ian! He's such a tease! What episode are they on? ian somerhalderâ€@iansomerhalder Shooting a scene people are going to really love- or really hate.... OK, the word is, there was a rain scene in the woods...and it was a closed set, some fans were there and were told it was closed and they could not get any closer, as well as the fact it appears Ian and Nina were there but several other major cast members were not, like PW, Candice, Kat G, Torrey. I think they are still on 3x20 - Do Not Go Gentle. JoMo was around but not Paul so I don't think it would be a big Klaus scene because surely Paul would be there for that. Sounds promising for DE doesn't it? We all know how popular that last rain scene was with DE fans. Well, I won't get my hopes up, but I do hope to be on the 'really love' end of this hint he gave. Here's what I think would be a good scenario for the DE/SE thing to the end of the season. Damon has already said that he thinks she doesn't want him. So, I could see him continue to let her go, and looking at the latest synopsis, he may even be trying to push her back toward Stefan, figuring if she doesn't want him than at least his brother should be happy. (This is how Damon is completely different than Stefan) So, that's what I see him do in the next few episodes, push her back toward Stefan and SE and at first Elena is all for it. She wants to see if she can get her Stefan back, the Stefan she lost.
But then she realizes that she is losing Damon in the process as he slowly lets go of her. He becomes more involved with other women, Rebekah, Sage and getting on with his life apart from her. I think, I hope, the days of Damon practically begging Elena to love him are over with. She's rejected him and he's going to accept that and move on.
Except Elena really didn't mean it, like she tried to tell him, but he wasn't listening that night, and it starts to really take a toll on her as she thinks about life without Damon in it. Maybe he even plans to leave town with Sage or Rebekah or whatever but the big thing is that it becomes obvious he's letting go, which she has never experienced before. He's always been there and she just expected him to 'get over it' and things would go back to the way they were, but they haven't and they aren't. This is where she is forced to make a choice.
So then somewhere around 3x20 she tries to get things back to the way they were, but she sucks at it, like always and it makes no impact on Damon and the direction he's going which then forces her to take more drastic measures to make her point that she needs him and she doesn't want to lose him. She realizes that SE, the SE she knew, is over, that Stefan she loved doesn't exist anymore and the person that she wants to be with is Damon.
She has to take matters into her own hands and make it clear what she wants so she kisses him/tells him she loves him/maybe even DEx happens, who knows, but my point is by finale time she has made it clear she wants to be with Damon. What he does about that could be interesting. Maybe he even rejects her thinking she can't mean it. I mean he DOES think he's unloveable so if someone were to actually tell him they love him, especially Elena, would he believe it right off? I'm thinking, no. Maybe he tells her he realizes it won't work and shouldn't work because of Stefan and the guilt and not wanting to hurt him. So then the angst can shift to Elena. That would be a nice twist.
It's not like just because his feelings would be reciprocated that the triangle would all be over with. There's still a ton of things that can happen to make it angsty.
What do you all think of this?

I'm hoping by seasons end their love will be equal and a relationship happens. I don't want any wishy washy stuff. I'm just ready to finally see DE be a couple for once and see what that causes in their dynamic with Stefan. Then and only then will i be able to see where this whole triangle will go. Until DE becomes a couple this show will stay and always be one cluster F@&K away from being a hot mess! SE had their relationship! The triangle needs to become equal on all parts. I think she will do exactly what you said! Exactly! But by seasons end they better be together dang it or I'm gonna be annoyed.  I just want to season 4 dedicated to them trying to make whatever it is they have work! I wanna see DE's bond grow and get stronger. I want them to do firsts together... Not just sex but things couples do. Not just always saving Elena's butt! I want to see Stefan take a step back and allow them to figure out what is between them because if he doesn't he is cheapening himself. How could he want to be with a girl who has feelings for his brother, yet who knows how deep or how far because her care for Stefan wont let her explore them??? Stefan shouldn't want to be with her until she figures out who she wants to be with in the end and she has to go be with Damon until she realizes he is the one or wishy washy back to Stefan? I mean she has to know to the fullest extent what relationship is the one for her only by experiencing said relationships right? |

I gotta admit I would go through the roof if DEx happened, if it was the blind item.  I would not think it was too soon after 3 freaking seasons...sorry but NO I would not! But I know some people would. Then all sorts of angst could happen but we would know that they had something and that's really all I want at this point. So tired of the way things are right now and have been forever. Some people were like, would you want to have sex in the rain? Um, yeah...and I think I have...actually I know I have...the memory kicked in finally. I'm a big fan of rain, thunderstorms are quite the aphrodisiac. We did draw the line at hurricanes....  Although...sex inside during a hurricane...yup...still works for me! |

What if they are at a cabin of some sorts. They are in the rain in the woods but they didn't say if they were actually outside with no car or building! man if they kiss outside his car and then have DEx inside his car I might die!
