what does everyone think of this season right now? They've got a lot of plot holes to explain at the moment, hopefully they will actually explain them ... (how did Hook get back to our world? How did he escape the second curse? Is Regina going to end up with a house on top of her now?? Or does Zelena have ANOTHER sister?) And side note, I wish they would bring back some established characters form fairytale world!! (Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, the Mad Hatter, the giant, Pongo!) I'm sure it's hard to have everyone on call, but it would be nice if they had them in there once and a while so it doesn't look like they've been forgotten.

I'm bored at work, so gonna do a little update on a couple other shows, starting with this one!
Regina and Robin Hood!  Yay!! Love it, can't wait to see what happens next.  Hook is bugging me, why the hell doesn't he just tell Emma what Zelena did?? Let HER decide what to do.  He doesn't have to be the bad guy, he's being dumb.  Meanwhile, so sad about Neal/Baelfire.  I was rooting for him and Emma.  Not that I don't like Hook, but Neal was Henry's father, and her first love.  That stuff is hard to compete with.  If they bring Hook and Emma together, I hope they earn it first.  Because it doesn't feel earned yet to me.
Questions still to be answered:  who cast the curse and why?  why did they lose their memories?  why wasn't Hook affected by the curse?  how did he find Emma?  who sent him the message? what is Zelena going to do with Snow and Charming's baby?  Why didn't King Leopold recognize Cora when he got engaged to Regina?  When is Emma going to stop being such a buzz kill magic hater and jump on the freakin bandwagon?

I love OUAT but sadly here in uk no one is showing season 3 as channel 5 dropped it after season 2

Update!
So, season 3 finale in 2 days ... and it's gonna be 2 hours! I'm excited, and nervous.
From the promos, looks like Emma and Hook are going to get sucked into Zelena's time travel spell, but it also looks like they are not going back to the time Zelena had intended. It appears as if they will be transported to the time right around when Snow and Charming met for the first time. I'm guessing we are going to have a Back to the Future situation? Don't accidently change anything really important!
Questions to be answered:
How did Hook get to Emma in New York from fairytale land?
Did our heroes accidently kill Philip and Aurora when they were blasting the flying monkeys??
Was that green dust/smoke meant to imply that Zelena is still alive? And if so, how??
Is Belle going to dump Rumple when she finds out he tricked her?
What is the "all important name" the Charmings are going to give their son?
What will Emma and Hook end up changing in the past, and will it be for better or for worse?
Who's wedding will we be witness to?
What will the lead in for next season's adventure be, and who will be the new villain?

So many questions!

I haven't been following that long and tried to catch up but basically just FFed it to all the Hook parts.
So now we know how Hook went to NYC to retrieve Emma but I'm not clear on why. Did he go for her because he felt she belonged with them or did he really get a message that told him to find her that she was needed by in Storybrook like he said?
Found that confusing.

I'm still here! And loving this new season! But it sounds like you're a bit behind still, so I won't spoil anything for you.
But yes, he got a message. You might not have gotten to the part where that is made clear yet. What episode are you on?

Weeeelll...truth be told I may have missed a bit since I've only been watching the Hook and Emma parts...so....I'm kind of up to date as far as them. I know he thought that Snow and Charming had sent the message but they didn't? Go ahead and spoil me! I need to know!

Also...what do you make of all this Miss? Will Hook shoot himself in the foot? I love the boyfriendy stuff at the end of the last episode but I don't know what I want!!! He's a pirate! What does he do around Storybrook all day? What are they going to do, make him Mr. Hook the shoemaker? I mean I am all over the place with this!
I hope they don't play how are we going to mess with the fandom from here on in, like another show I watch (wink-wink-nudge-nudge)

Oh yea...and I hope they show the story he related to Emma about how he took the Jolly Roger and out ran the curse. Killian needs to be on the sea!!

Haha, gotcha.
Well Neal/Baelfire was the one who sent Hook the note. Did you see the part where Neal resurrected Rumple? The price for bringing his father back to life was that he had to die in his place, but Rumple tried to keep him alive by basically absorbing him into himself. But it made Rumple crazy. And every now and then Neal would take control. The Wicked Witch had Neal/Rumple captive and she told him part of her plan, and so Neal took control and sent the message to Hook so that Hook could go help Emma.

So, anyways, I totally love this show. It's actually become my favorite. I love all the mysteries and the way they weave everything together. I just think it's brilliant. But anyways, personally I don't think Hook is Emma's soul mate. I think Neal was her soul mate. I know I'm in the minority, but for me I felt like Neal fit with her much better. Plus they had a child together. Hook is more attractive than Neal physically, so I'm sure that's a big reason why most people prefer Hook. For some reason though, I just don't feel a lot of chemistry between them. Hook is fun, and it's nice for Emma to have a romance. But as you said, where does Hook fit in in Storybrook? I'm just not sure how that relationship can possibly work in the long run. Honestly I really wish they hadn't killed off Neal. But I suppose, while I'm wishing things, what I really wish is that they hadn't killed off Graham way back in the first season! He was a better match for Emma than BOTH Hook AND Neal! I hate that they did that. Actually I almost stopped watching the show because of that ... SO GLAD I DIDN'T!

I do really hope they find Hook some purpose, besides mooning over Emma. Because at the moment, he's kind of a sad sack lackey.  He's an infamous pirate! He deserves better.

I can't believe you are only watching the parts with Hook and Emma lol! How can you not want to know what's happening in the story?? I would just die lol.

I know it seems strange that I only watch the Captain Swan bits. I blame it on two things...my adult onset ADD(which may be a real thing) and my Hook obsession.(which is definately a real thing)
I can't help it...dark haired bad boys get me everytime. I'm kind of weak and easy that way.
Love that Neal sent the note to Hook. For two reasons...Neal knew Hook would do whatever it takes and he knew that Hook would protect Emma.

I don't know what to think about the soul mate thing. I know it is fantasy and while I do believe in true love I'm not sure I buy into the soul mate thing. But this show isn't about me or my philosophy!

Hook is my favorite TV character since Damon and actually has surpassed Damon in my thoughts and dreams! Damon started to lose his edge and I see that happening to Hook too. We want them to do whatever it takes to win the love of our favorite heroines but sometimes it is just too much. Sad sack lackey is a good description.

I need Hook to be a pirate but a good pirate with a code of honor and a belief in "good form". I want him to be happy. I just can't see him living happily ever after in Storybrook without a ship. A pirate without a ship is just some guy in leather with a hook.
IDK! I love the things he says, and how he is fierce and bold and funny. I love that he wants to know about Emma and be there for her. I love his accent and his dark past.
I'd love to see the back story on him and Milah and also the back story of him getting the message and going to get Emma and Henry in NYC. I know none of it would be as simple and straight forward as the story he told Emma.

I'll try to watch in real time from now on...they are my ship. I just don't know what I want for them!
