The parts where there was no Hook, LOL! Robin and Regina were nice. I need a moment like that for Hook and Emma. Feel like it's a long time coming...even with next week being a two hour special the only preview of Hook was a quick flash of him saying something like "You don't have to do this!"

Yeah, there really hasn't been much romance in the CaptainSwan romance so far ... that might be part of why I just don't feel that invested in them. I'm much more into OutlawQueen :-) Go Robin! Finally he's fighting for Regina, she needs someone to fight for her. I have to say that I really liked the Snow Queen's whole backstory this episode. I was wondering how they were going to explain her character development, and I think they definitely delivered there. That story explained A LOT. I felt really bad for Emma in this episode though. Man, her life really sucks! That was completely heartbreaking watching her see her mother doting on Neal, and seeing her do all the things with him that she never did with Emma. Emma will never get to have that, she was never rocked to sleep by her mother, or told stories, or held protectively, or given advice, or unconditional love from anyone. It's so tragic! It's like Harry Potter!! And then watching her mother shrink away from her and not trust her with the baby ... that was awful. Poor Emma. I know Regina needs Henry, but I think Emma needs him more right now. I hope he stands up for her next episode! Side note: how cute was it to see all the princesses with there babies?? I loved that :-) Side note2: what do you think the last ingredient is that Rumple needs??? He looked so gleefully evil when she told him ... that can't be good lol |

Yes, I really felt for Emma too, and the hopelessly romantic in me wants Hook to be there for her. We can't change the past or ignore it's shortcomings but maybe somehow Hook can give Emma a good present. Seriously, being "The Savior" would totally stink. And as strong as Emma is she in so vulnerable too. I just know that Hook wants to be a part of her life if she would just let him. I have no idea what that ingredient is but I have a really bad feeling about it. Who does Rumple want to destroy that badly? I can't wait till Rumple gets whats coming to him. Enjoy the backstory of the Snow Queen too. She just wants a family.  |

Well ... that happened  I see a lot of badness on the CaptainSwan horizon ... What is going on with Rumple?? I don't understand. This plot really doesn't make a lot of sense for his character development. This is like season 2 Rumple all of a sudden, it doesn't make any sense. Other than that stuff, I liked the episode. Anna and Elsa are so cute lol. And Elsa was pretty great with Emma. And Regina! Giving the Charmings a talking to for not believing in Emma, that was awesome. Speaking of Regina and awesome, how great was the OutlawQueen this episode? They have great chemistry I think. And that "hope" conversation with Snow was a crack up. I'm very curious about that mysterious page from the book! And I wish they would tell us what happened to Anastasia already! And Will needs to be in the story more! lol Ok I'm done ranting. What did you think?? |

I didn't know what to think at first. Having jumped around as much as I have I'm not real clear on the mythology. So if Rumple has Hook's heart, what does that mean exactly? That Hook has to do everything he says or he gets his heart squished? This can't be good, but Hook has to tell Emma. He gets nowhere when he tries to keep things from her.
Rumple has turned into a raging baddy. He's worried about the dagger and it's power so he will do anything to make it go away. Even if that includes killing my boyfriend, Hook
And have you re-watched it yet? The part where Hook is tied to the fence and he yells something at Rumple that sounds like "Christ is my uncle!" But that can't be right, do you know what he says there?
Yup, loved the OutlawQueen, "sleepover". And maybe Henry wrote Regina's meet up with Robin in the Tavern?
Agree...Will is adorable.
Loved the whole loving yourself and your power scenario too. I hope Hook doesn't get all misunderstood and do stupid things to lose all the ground he has gained. His character reminds me so much of Damon's sometimes. Snarky and witty but tender and selfless. My kind of man!

Not out of fear of dying, but because if you have someone's heart you literally control them. Hook won't be able to tell Emma, because Rumple will have commanded him not to. It's going to be bad ... Rumple could crush Hook's heart and kill him, but he won't because he needs the heart for his spell. But in the meantime, Hook will be his slave. It's very bad. I have not watched it a second time, and I don't remember what his exact words were in that moment, but they definitely were not "Christ is my uncle" LOL Unless that was the blooper reel by mistake haha. I know he was trying to convince Rumple not to go through with it, talking about how Emma was his grandson's mother, and talking about Neal I think. But I can't quite remember. I can't understand why Rumple is going bad again. It seems like there is no reason for it. How can he think he won't lose Belle over this?? It seems OOC at this point ... but I don't know. Anyways, yeah Hook is in serious trouble. I have no idea how he is going to get out of this. He's going to have to get his heart away from Rumple. Or figure out a sneaky way to tell Emma what's going on. I have a bad feeling though ... |

I hate to see Hook go bad but maybe Emma will figure it out on her own. Stupid Rumple. Yes, pretty sure it was more like "Don't do this Rumple" but I replayed it three times and it still sounds like "Christ's my uncle" which is pretty funny. I need CC on this show.

Well if you live by the premise that God is our father (which I do) then Christ would be our brother. So either way it's wrong and not the kind of thing I would yell if someone was threatening to rip my heart out.
I'm STILL chuckling about this...might need to re-watch...again!

Well ... that was a b**ch of a cliff hanger!
I still don't get why Rumple is being so evil. It just doesn't make sense. I guess I'm going to have to get over it though, because I guess that's just the way they want things :-( I can't believe all the fairies are gone! Though I have to assume that there must be a way to get them out of the hat again ... Well, there are 2 episodes left before the winter break starts, looks like things are going to get intense. It's up to the 3 girls to save the day! Which I think might be kind of fun :-) But as of now, sure looks like Hook is a goner ... Did you notice that funny look on Emma's face after they kissed? I couldn't tell if that was supposed to mean something or not. It might have just been her noticing that it seemed more like a "goodbye forever" kiss instead of a "goodbye for now" kiss. But it might have been something else. I don't know. But also, speaking of kisses, do you think they will deal with the True Love's Kiss thing once the curse hits? Because shouldn't that just break the hold over people? I mean, I'm going to assume that those affected by the curse can't do it, because they won't be feeling love, therefore it won't be TLK. But Emma could kiss Henry again and save him, right? And couldn't Anna kiss Kristoff and save him? That at least would take care of a couple people ... But I don't know, maybe I'm wrong. Meanwhile, I think things are going to get pretty bad, but I'm very curious to see how it's all handled.
So, things I liked:
Regina, as always, everything about her lol.
Anna and Kristoff's tearful not-quite-goodbye in the trunk. It was nice to see the love between them, since their scenes together have been few and far between.
Anna and Elsa's reunion was adorable, as well as their sisterly commiseration on how "weird this world is" lol, that was cute.
Anna and Kristoff's reunion with David was great too.
Anna in general, just love her. "You rolled around in gold bars? Weird ... and, ouch!"
Mysteries I want answers to: what message is in the bottle??? how did the alternate page from the storybook get in Robin's bag, and obviously who is the author?? what happened to Will and Anastasia and why did he leave?? And who is The Sorcerer who's hat that is???

Oh boy! I know! Well, I just rewatched it and I have to think that kiss meant something. Emma knows something is up and I think she will figure this thing out with Hook and save him. At least that is my great hope. Hook can't be a goner, period.
And yes, what is up with Rumple? I hope Belle sees him for the jerk he really is and soon. I know he is the dark one and all but he really has gone over the top with this. Unfortunately Hook has baited him enough with this dagger business and he doesn't like it hanging over his head. It's going to have to be Hook or Rumple at some point. Hook is over seeking his revenge but Rumple has too much to lose. And did you see when Rumple pulled out Hook's heart? It was red and glowing, a true and loving heart. My poor, beautiful, boy. He just loves too much. It's killing me!
Love Ana too. If I were a character in the show it would be her. Love her relationship with Kristoff. They seem so much like their cartoon characters. They are refreshing!
Looks like Regina will go back to being dark. She's wonderful. Hopefully Henry's TLK will save her.
So if Henry, Ana, Emma, Belle and Elsa are the only ones who will not be affected by the curse then they have to run around kissing everyone? (please please please let Emma kiss Hook and everything be all better!)
What is the note in the bottle? It must be important because I think I remember Ana's mother saying something about it being able to save her children. Hmmmm....
The book thing is really interesting, especially since it looks like the page was torn out and the pages go in sequence. Do you think the author and the wizard are the same person? I thought for awhile that Rumple wrote the book. But now I don't see how that is possible.
Clearly skipping around to find only the Hook stuff has not boded well for my understanding of the Will and Anastasia story. Do you recall what episodes they were? I can probably find it. He is an interesting character too. Love his accent!
