Oh boy! I know! Well, I just rewatched it and I have to think that kiss meant something. Emma knows something is up and I think she will figure this thing out with Hook and save him. At least that is my great hope. Hook can't be a goner, period. And yes, what is up with Rumple? I hope Belle sees him for the jerk he really is and soon. I know he is the dark one and all but he really has gone over the top with this. Unfortunately Hook has baited him enough with this dagger business and he doesn't like it hanging over his head. It's going to have to be Hook or Rumple at some point. Hook is over seeking his revenge but Rumple has too much to lose. And did you see when Rumple pulled out Hook's heart? It was red and glowing, a true and loving heart. My poor, beautiful, boy. He just loves too much. It's killing me! Love Ana too. If I were a character in the show it would be her. Love her relationship with Kristoff. They seem so much like their cartoon characters. They are refreshing! Looks like Regina will go back to being dark. She's wonderful. Hopefully Henry's TLK will save her. So if Henry, Ana, Emma, Belle and Elsa are the only ones who will not be affected by the curse then they have to run around kissing everyone? (please please please let Emma kiss Hook and everything be all better!) What is the note in the bottle? It must be important because I think I remember Ana's mother saying something about it being able to save her children. Hmmmm.... The book thing is really interesting, especially since it looks like the page was torn out and the pages go in sequence. Do you think the author and the wizard are the same person? I thought for awhile that Rumple wrote the book. But now I don't see how that is possible. Clearly skipping around to find only the Hook stuff has not boded well for my understanding of the Will and Anastasia story. Do you recall what episodes they were? I can probably find it. He is an interesting character too. Love his accent! Oh sorry, the Will Scarlet and Anastasia thing is actually from the spin off Once Upon A Time In Wonderland. I thought maybe you had watched it, sorry. If you want to know their story I can tell you the basics. Let me know :-) Meanwhile, yeah I agree that the message in the bottle must be something important. Unless they are faking us out and it's just a parental message saying something like, "we love you know matter what" lol, which would be disappointing. I'm hoping it's some kind of plot point that can help them defeat Ingrid. As far as TLKs go, not to get too technical about it lol, but I think it would be a lot more complicated. In season 1 there was a flashback that showed when Snow had Rumple remove her Love so she wouldn't be heartbroken about losing Charming anymore. And when CHarming came to find her, he tried to use TLK on her to break the spell but it didn't work at first. They explained that it didn't work because she didn't feel anything for him, which made it a one way love and therefore no longer TLK. He ended up almost dying to save her, and that made her feel something again, then they kissed and THAT time it worked. So ... basically what I'm saying is that I don't think TLK will work on the people who are affected by the shattered sight curse, cause they won't feel love for their loved ones anymore. Plus, Hook doesn't have his heart ... I'm not sure if you can have a TLK without a heart ... But maybe they will find a way! I definitely hope they don't kill off Hook. Emma has already lost 4 other love interests, she's gonna become a bitter old shrew if she loses another one! lol But I also don't think they can kill off Rumple either. In a weird way he's kind of the main character. He's such a huge part of the story, when he was gone for that little while in the second half of last season it totally sucked. So I feel like the only answer is to somehow convince Rumple NOT to do the spell .... I know he secured safe passage for Him, Belle and Henry out of the town, but I don't think Belle and Henry are immune to the spell. I think it's just Anna, Elsa, and Emma ... I hope the 3 girls can handle all this drama on their own! |

Ahhh..okay. I'll check out Wonderland too then. I like Will, he's someone I would love to hang out with!
Last night I was thinking that maybe Hook won't be effected by the curse either because of his missing heart. Really no clue, just reaching but maybe there is some kind of good that can come of all of this.
Yes, I guess they have to keep dumb old Rumple around (sorry but he's on my sh*t list right now) but I still want him to somehow be gutted over this mistreatmeant of Hook and of Bellle(not that I care about her, but he does).
Thanks for straightening out TLK thing. Sounds pretty important. Still hoping it can come into play with Hook and Emma. They really can't kill off Hook, right? I mean how big would that suck? Just tell me they won't!!

I don't think they will kill off Hook ... I seriously hope they won't kill off Hook! And yeah, Rumple is on my sh*t list right now too. He's being just as evil as season 1 Rumple, and I just don't get it. And yeah, Will is great. He's one of my favorite characters. I loved him on OUAT in Wonderland. The series was fun, but it was pretty wacky too. Not nearly as serious as regular Once. You might find it amusing though, I did. If nothing else, Will is worth watching it for.
And hmmm, I don't know, maybe Hook not having a heart WILL make him immune ... its an interesting thought! I guess we'll see ...

Went on a Hook and Emma bender last night to cure my DE despair. Was all over the map just trying to get some glimmer of hope. It does look like according to an interview that Emma does realize that something was "off" with Hook's good bye kiss and she will be the one who helps Hook. Of course she has to save all of Storybrooke first, I guess.
I'm really hung up on this "true love" business right now. If Emma and Hook aren't true love then I don't know what is!!

Looks like the second half of the season is going to be interesting. Villains unite! lol. What did you think of the finale?

I was understandably terrified going into this finale. Not sure what Rumple's deal is lately but he has turned into the worst kind of evil. So glad that Belle saw him for what he really is and he deserved everything he got. That part was very satisfying!
I felt awful for Regina but I know she and Robin will somehow find each other again. That's the great part about this show compared to some of the others is that it is a fairy tale and good things do happen to good people.
Which of course brings me to my Captain Swan. Of course I would have loved more kissing etc...but I get that everyone had their stories that needed to be told. I love that they are a legitimate couple now and the writer says they are together on their journey. Love that...I'm sure all kinds of twisted crazy stuff will happen but I don't feel the need to cockblock coming from this show which I find utterly refreshing. I love the way that Hook is really into Emma and I can see it being reciprocated in words and actions from her. Love, loving these two. I do wish Emma would have been more pro-active when she saw there was something not right with Hook. He sure was trying to give her signs.
All in all...it was everything I was hoping for, a Captain Swan ending and Rumple being escorted out of town by Belle. The new baddies will be interesting. I've read one of the gals has a history with Hook and that we are going to get more of Hook's backstory in the second half of the season. Hmmm.....More Hook works for me!

This show is just so much fun. I love that there is really nothing like it. It can be playful, and magical, and innocent, but also dark, and dangerous, and epic. I love that we can have things like 2 adorable sisters giggling over chocolate and having a fairytale wedding along side things like a marriage ending in betrayal of the worst kind and loved ones being separated seemingly forever. It really is such a versatile show!
Anyways, I am really looking forward to more Hook and Emma. I want them to really get into that romance more now. I think it will be fun. And I'm glad that Belle stood up to Rumple, although I am really sad at the way that storyline has gone. Their romance was so sweet at first :-( But anyways, definitely looking forward to the second half!!

i recently picked up this tv series during christmas break season 1 was extremely slow and dull but as soon as season 2 kicked in i was hooked(hehehe get it)but in all seriousness this is defs top 5 material. Belle and Rumple are the katherine/stefan of tvd the buffy/angel of btvs the octavia/lincoln of the 100 the bones/booth of bones i can go all day.

Love your take on it Demise...and yea, it's hard not to get 'hook'ed on you know who.
I like Rumple's character...at least I did in the beginning but he seems to be getting darker and I see no real redemption for him anytime soon.
Belle just makes me cringe.
Love Regina and Robin. And Charming and Snow.
CS is my main ship though...I mean what's not to love here? I especially like that I LIKE Emma. I usually take the man's point of view when watching these shows and feel sorry for the man when they seem to be the ones who wear their hearts on their sleeves or try to hide behind their humor or strength. But Emma is open now and vulnerable and lets Hook be there for her and vice versa. It's seems like a healthy relationship.

yeah i definetely agree snow white and charming are definetly a top couuple in the series (except storybrooke snow white) sorry but im just not a fan of the short hair. Rumple has definetly gotten darker but i still believe belle will bring him back and rumple will be able to truly trust belle with all his secrets.

Has anyone ever thought that maybe Bae was really Hook's son? Perhaps when we see him in the bar with Milah that isn't his first time in port, if you catch my drift.
Since I have been binge watching I've caught a few things like when Bae is learning how to sail Hook tells him it's in his blood. And when Greg and Tamarra are trying to rid the town of magic Hook makes some kind of comment about what we do for our children and they go back to the story of Hook and Bae on the Jolly Roger. It may just be that he thought of him that way since he loved Milah and wanted to care for him and maybe he didn't know if he was or not.
But maybe Rumple knows that Hook is the real father and that is why he is trying to kill him?
Ugh who knows! Just some thoughts.
