I'm kind of excited about this one, being a big fan of Johnny Depp and Tim Burton, and, of course, vampires. It's been a dream of mine for a long time for Johnny to play a vampire. I know it will be campy and cheesy and all sorts of deliciousness like that. I can count on it. The movie is supposed to come out May 2012. I'm still looking for a trailer though I'm not sure if one has come out yet.

Hopefully this makeup looks better in the actual film because he really does look like he just walked out of a coffin with that ghoulishly white face in these stills.

MTV wanted to know the same about a trailer but had some bits from it. My Summer movies will probably be regulated to Marvel though in Avengers and Spider-Man. I'll end up seeing this though down the line. Love Bettlejuice and enjoyed Alice in Wonderland, the Batman movies and Sleepy Hollow by Burton so I'm willing to give his stuff a try.

Tim Burton is a genius, a mad scientist of the film industry and I love him. He and Johnny are a match made in heaven. Edward Scissorhands? Need I say more? I think I've loved nearly everything they've done together, Sweeney Todd, Sleepy Hollow, absolute classics, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, better than the first one and that's saying alot, put Gene Wilder to shame, even Ed Wood was good but I admit I am biased in favor of these two and their collaborations. They go where others fear to tread.

I don't know much about this movie but I didn't like Johnny's vampire look/makeup when I first saw it. I'll probably see it eventually.

Like Slash, I'll probably see Spiderman this summer. I don't tend to see movies in the theatre.

Just watched it and it's entertaining. Definitely want to see it after seeing that trailer. This is why I hate the Summer I love the amount of movies coming out but there are just so many I want to see: Avengers, Prometheus (this probably usurped Spider-Man after seeing the trailer), Dark Knight Rises, and this that I know of. I know I'm missing 1 or 2 others.

In other Burton news, was reading on io9 that if Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter's writer can get a script together this year (or soon), Burton and Michael Keaton would be interested in coming back for Bettlejuice 2 (a sequel, not a reboot or reimagining). Think they said set 30 years later since time is really nothing in the afterlife but in the real world it makes a lot of difference. Would *LOVE* to see this happen.
