I love Tyler and Caroline so much. They're my one true pair. They need to get back together! They're made for each other.

I loved them in season 2, but honestly something in season 3 felt off. Maybe it was how quick they hooked up on screen. Yes, off- screen it was a whole summer break, but it felt too soon. I hope the writers fix this cause I  them!! |

I hope the writers fix this cause I  them!! You share my sentiments. I loved Caroline and Tyler in S2 but I'm not a fan of the way the writers wrote them in season 3. Maybe they rushed them a little with all the sex scenes (though I have to admit they were hot!) or maybe it's the whole hybrid thing that's simply not doing it for me. Either way I hope they fix them soon, because I miss the way their relationship used to be. |

Yeah the sex scenes were hot and not really out of place for me because of their situation (they kinda felt horny all the time) I agree, the hybrid thing is not doing it for me either! And it felt like the writers didn't care at all about Forwood! I mean look at their last scene, Tyler just leaves, Caroline doesn't say anyhting... I love them together and i hope the writers will fix them. |

I agree with you guys so much. I loved the Caroline/Tyler build up in S2. I liked that they got closer as friends during the summer break, but it's like since S3 everything about Forwood has felt off.
Maybe they did rush into sex too soon, I don't know. I'm sad that they never really got to be a real couple for long, I think we missed some great moments. I do not think Tyler becoming a hybrid has helped them at all, and it sucks that they are already broken up. Maybe part of what is bugging me is that when Tyler said, "After everything we've been through..." it felt a little false to me. Yes, they have been through lots, as friends. As an actual couple, this is the first real hurdle they've had, they've never really "been through" stuff as a couple before, so they don't know how to work their stuff out. And it's sad, cos like I said, the writers didn't even really give them much of a chance to actually be in a relationship before this obstacle came their way, so I feel a bit cheated.
Um, I don't know if any of my ramblings make sense. Just know that I agree with the sentiments shared here. I loved loved Forwood, and have felt some major disappointments over how they have been written this season so far. BUT, I do sincerely hope things get better for them down the track because I would love to fall in love with them again.

I just wanted to say that after this episode (3x12), I've let my Forwood heart hope a little....
His love for Caroline is inspiring him to try and get rid of the sire bond, but in the process I think it will be fantastic for him on a personal level to feel like he has some control over the werewolf side of himself.
