So basically it seems to me that Alaric is on a one way collision course for prison or death. I hope we don't get a scene where he's like, "Kill me it's the only way." I'm hoping the problem lies with his ring and not his brain himself, but judging by the preview and him being in that giant machine thing (MRI? Not really good with terms of those hospital machines and all that jazz  ) looks like it might be more of a mental thing. He needs to stop drinking for starters |

Well, I think Meredith is probably doing tests on him to see if there is any damage to his brain.
I think it's the ring.
Wonder what that means for Jeremy

Wonder what that means for Jeremy Jeremy should already be a bit on the supernatural side when Bonnie brought him back to life using magic. But it's probably just Alaric's ring since that one belonged to Samantha Gilbert and Jeremy's one is the dad I think. |

Well it has to be the ring. If the ring makes them attack counsil members, some type of spell has to be going on with the ring besides the being brought back to death spell. Maybe the ring is a talisman from someone.
This could also lead to why Johnathan Gilbert went crazy but he didnt begin to kill people that we know of. I cant wait till this whole ring murders play out because i read somewhere that there is another twist to that story coming up. =)

Klaus' Hybrids in disguise. But yes, hoping they explain the rings making them want to wipe out the Council. I'm currently thinking it's Emily possessing them and wiping out Council Members for payback for the Witch Burnings but that's just because a Bennett made them and Emily has possessed before (Bonnie). If she can do it through other works of hers, then that would explain it. She probably can't do it to Damon or Stefan (since she made their rings) because they're Vampires but maybe humans wearing her trinkets (and after a few deaths) and blood relatives makes it easy for her. Right now though, they explain it as bringing out the darkest fantasies or whatever and we know Alaric earlier on this season had kind of a problem with the Council when he was mad at Damon.

Yeah, Abby deciding to run off again when Bonnie is trying to stick around and help her through this is just horrible. Bonnie finally has her mother back and although she could be dead right now, she still insists on running off instead of taking this chance to be with her daughter because she's not willing to see this all the way through.
I feel bad for Bonnie when she does return and Abby is gone. That's got to be heartbreaking cause it just keeps piling on for her. She meets her mother again, can spend some time with her and maybe learn some magic, then she's killed and gets turned. Fine, she still has her mother and will have to work through this Vampire thing but they're together. Goes to help friend and comes home to find her mother has run once again.
She can't see to stay high on good times. Coming off of her Grandma, then having to put her life on the line to possibly fight an Original, losing Jeremy through that mess of a relationship and then having him sent off before they work things through, getting her Mother back and now losing her again cause she doesn't want to stick around. With all the other Originals coming back next week, you know the gang is going to lean on her for some help too.
