Seriously I've hated them since season 2. I used to say I hate them all but Elijah but I don't even care about him anymore. Klaus annoys the hell out of me...although I think Joseph Morgan is a total sweetheart I feel like the Mystic Falls regulars are getting pushed aside for these goofballs. Can we please----> kill them once and for all

Can we please----> kill them once and for all I'm with ya. To be honest I wouldn't care if every single one of them died at this point. It even bugs me that they have fans because I feel like they have taken away valuable time from the people I do care about in the show. There I've said it and I'm not sorry! If they want to make an original spinoff, have at it, but I won't be watching it.

I actually like Elijah and Bekah, and kind of Klaus to a certain extent but obviously, this whole Original thing has gone on a bit too long. I would ideally like if they were kept alive, but not the center point as they have been for the past near 2 seasons. They maybe help out with new threats but mainly, they just live in town (kind of like how Liz & Carol are there but not always popping up, just when it suits the story).
Klaus is really the problem with this kind of scenario because of his focus on Hybrids but the other 2 would fit that. Elijah coming back to town every so often or when Elena & Co. need his knowledge and given the few scenes the 2 have had, I wouldn't mind if Bekah & Matt just became an item and showed up whenever (I do think this would still cause some problems, mainly with Caroline & Elena not wanting her around even if she's not causing trouble). I do also think a problem that would come of this is the 'Witch/Bonnie' factor that we've seen. If the gang has an Original or two that are 'friends' and live in town who are easily accessible, then you run into the process of the Writers using them as a cop out/plot device like they do with Bonnie and her magic/needing to cast a spell:
"Hey, this new Vamp is in town, he's 600 years old and causing us trouble Elijah. Can you talk to him?" *Elijah manhandles the new Vamp and sends him on his way*
So I do like 3 out of the 6 but I do think the story is a downer right now for as long as they've been a centerpiece. This probably could have been avoided as well if they didn't go into this whole obsession with the Salvatores wanting to kill them off dragging it on longer than it should be.

I love Elijah and I want him on as a regular. Jenna was killed off so he can take her casting place or story time . The rest can be killed off or leave for all I care. The Originals story line has turned out to be a huge disappointment. There was all this exciting build up right after last season ended and then we got nothing. That is the main problem. They aren't dangerous or scary enough. There's a lack of action. Klaus was awesome last season and then he was suddenly turned into a softie. Completely lame. I don't even feel like I'm watching vampires.

The show doesn't seem to want to or knows how to make a power scale on this show. The fact that the Originals have been punked by Stefan and that Damon has had as many encounters with them as he's had and is still alive is a glaring issue. No less, he's killed Kol twice. Finn went down in a manner that was laughable (the peek-a-boo kill by Matt & Elena).
The Hybrids are in the same boat. Touted to be a balance upsetter and then you have Mikael finding a loophole just like that and Damon, Stefan and even Jeremy killing them like flies.
The show doesn't seem to want to put people above the Salvatores & Gang which is disappointing.

I want Kol to die because he's a brat and annoying. I want Klaus to die because he NEEDS to die at the end of this season.
Elijah can live and pop up here and there. I'd like Rebekah to live and visit sometimes...I wouldn't hate it if she stayed.

I hated him at first (he scared me), started to like him, hated him when he got all pansy ass, and now I just think he's a pointless pony painter. I don't think the show ever got me fully invested in him as a character and that's the issue there. He seems weak now and that's unacceptable in a villian with me. He's like this little kid stomping his feet or the wizard of Oz behind the curtain...just pathetic at best. I'm thinking Esther just needs to give him a good spanking and send him to bed without his dinner.

I think I hate Ester most of all. Maybe on rewatch this season will be a more enjoyable viewing & I'll fine the Originals fascinating. I dunno. When Elijah threw the coins that shattered the glass in season 2 it was interesting & shocking. Klause threw a newspaper, then a ball and all it did was bore me.

Esther wore out her welcome in like, the first episode she was fully around (the Ball?). I was sick of her then and there and they've just dragged her out. I think Mikael would have been more interesting but they got rid of him quick. I'm surprised she wasn't in this past episode but I'm sure she'll pop back up to whisper sweet nothings in Alaric's ear. I found the scene with Klaus attacking the house hilarious honestly. A newspaper, a fence and then Damon returning fire. Then he walks up to the house with a torch and a propane tank ready to watch it burn
