I'll never understand Bamon. It's like even on twitter where fans were trying to get something Damon related trending and asked for Bamons help they were like nope I think Bamon is shipped as a means for Bonnie to get more screentime or to get Damon out of the way of SE. Obviously Bamon's been dead for a while and 2x18 was certainly the deal breaker on that when he said he'd let Bonnie die. I don't know why people still ship Bonnie and Damon when he could give a crap for her and vice versa.

You're probably right, most Bamon fans are actually Stelenas in disguise. They could care less about either character. Personally I'd like to see Bonnie get a stake through the heart. I can almost see her dying in my mind. Darn I never seem to get what I want. It would be the worst and probably make Delenas leave in droves if they put Bamon together.
I can't quite figure out if JP is actually f***ing with us intentionally and would do something like that or she's really trying to tell a compelling story with Delena at the heart of it.

I think JP's dealt a worser hand to Bamon than Delena. Even in the books Damon didn't have that much animosity towards Bonnie. JP doesn't even care to build a mutual friendship between them. Every time Damon even talks to her it's either about some plan that he needs her witch powers or about Elena.
I almost thought the writers were going to go somewhere with it in 3x18 where Bonnie had a chance to save Damon. I thought that she would have helped him and have things build on from there up to season 4 but it seems after three seasons they're still in the same spot they've always been. They just tolerate each other for Elena's sake.
I'm glad I wasn't a Bamon coming from the books to the show because I would be pissed at how they took the sorta 'Older protective brother thing' and turned that completely upside down. In the books Bonnie's personality was at least tolerable. On the show it's completely unbearable.

I agree Bonnie in the books was this frail little girl that he felt protective of. I never got a sense that he had any sort of love for her though, just a protectiveness. He loved Elena. Bonnie, however, did have feelings for him.

The person who wrote that manifesto is NOT a Delena shipper or like Damon. To only write about what was wrong with Damon and Elena but omit what Stefan did is favoritism. Not mentioning all the times that Stefan lies to Elena is baffling. Whoever wrote that trash does not understand what love is. Only a child would come up with that. They don't know what love is. They don't understand it or even experience it.
