In the NBC/Sky Living series, Dracula (Meyers) arrives in London, posing as an American entrepreneur who maintains that he wants to bring modern science to Victorian society. In reality, he hopes to wreak revenge on the people who ruined his life centuries earlier but falls hopelessly in love with a woman who seems to be a reincarnation of his dead wife. “It is a timeless tale with relevant, surprising twists and turns with the exquisite Jonathan Rhys Meyers in the marquee role,†Bajaria said. Yeah, I just read about it. I'll watch it! I found it interesting that they seem to be ripping off TVD a little bit with the 'reincarnation' of his wife being the love interest. Well, you know what they say about imitation? But I would like a little darker vampire storyline like it seems they intend to go. I never did believe in bunny eating vamps.

Yeah, the trying to keep Vampires 'clean' angle doesn't really win me over so that's part of why I'm interested in seeing this cause it clearly states he came back for vengeance. I'm just hoping the show doesn't hook me cause it's 10 episodes long Then again, if it's a hit, NBC could probably order another season but that's if it's written open ended enough to be so.
