I hate the witches on this show I mean they are so stuck up and always bitching about the same crap I mean they go on about being protectors of nature but really they are just out for themselves I mean most of the time they just make things worse.

Here here  Witches have grown more and more annoying as the series has gone on. I hate the fact that you have dead Witches trying to conduct stuff from beyond the grave to their own agenda and Esther is the biggie on this one. The rest of this post reads like an Anti-Esther letter: It just got worse when she did actually show up because she was forcing all these rules to kill her children. Yes, we know you are being crucified by the other Witches for creating Vampires with magic but to go the lengths you've gone to 'right' that wrong? Ruining Bonnie's life and creating a 'Super Vampire' above your children that's tied to another girl's (Elena) life? You're getting chewed out by the Witches and you go and do the same s*** over  One of the more bothersome aspects about Esther is that she tried so hard to kill her children when you see how attached they were to her. Bekah got screwed up when she lost her and when Elijah found out the truth and that Klaus was taking out the others, he was going after Klaus. She was going to turn them human again still kill them Why not let them live a normal life at that point? Right, you wanted to kill *ALL* Vampires to get on the good side of those dead Witches. Gotta take the good with the bad. There are some bad Vampires out there but I'm sure there are others staying in check, not killing (just feeding) and just going on with their lives/adjusting to this change while continuing with their families. Why should they suffer because of your supposed 'screw up' and because your trying to right wrongs with dead Witch council? She's done nothing but use people the entire time too to get free and fulfill her agenda. Bonnie, Bekah, Elena, Alaric. All used by her. Manipulative bitch. Bonnie has her moments too where I'm kind of just shaking my head. There are some times where she goes all in on wanting use magic to help and then other times where she has a lapse like she doesn't do magic and can't do anything at that moment in time. For all the talk about 'balance', I can't believe that they would let Esther wipe out an entire species that's existed for 1000+ years and has just as much become apart of the 'world balance' now. That's the sad truth. Vampires have become part of that balance and Witches are perfectly fine with wiping them out? They seem to care a bit too much about what you are instead of who you are. Vampires? Got to die. Hybrids? Can't exist. Wonder what their opinions are on Werewolves. I think another aspect that bothers me about them is in relation to the Brothers. Stefan gets free passes despite the Ripper history but the dead Witches want to do nothing for Damon despite helping Bonnie (and watching over Emily's family)? Shouldn't they be getting some equal treatment due to protecting the doppelganger and wanting to bring down Klaus? Stefan can just walk into the Witch house for safety but Damon gets assaulted when he does? There just seems to be a heavy bias in general when it comes to Witches. The politics of Witches is just muddy though. Abby got stripped of her magic because she left Bonnie and expended most of it downing Mikael and sealing him. Shouldn't she had gotten a pass for the Mikael part or no because Mikael was after Klaus and she interfered with that? Wasn't Mikael after Elena at that time? The Witches would have let Mikael kill an innocent girl just so Klaus' agenda wouldn't be fulfilled of creating Hybrids? But the funny thing is the Witches Klaus raises are solely there to help him yet the dead Witch council doesn't strip them of their power or interfere. Why? I really do want another magic oriented species to come along and knock the Witches down a notch (Demons? Jinn maybe?) or that's just immune to magic in general so the Witches actually have to actively seek help from Vampires/Hybrids/Werewolves to deal with it. |

I really do hope Esther is done with but if she was able to come back and use Bonnie after we saw her 'die', then I think that bitch will be back later on to try and kill her children again. The Finn plan failed twice (once when they needed the Salvatores to run interference and again just after Klaus broke the link spell that Esther cast on them) and the Alaric plan didn't work either so she'll be back again for another attempt, from beyond the grave again. I just want her gone. Is that so much to ask?  I'm hoping that if she does show up again, it's at a later time when Bonnie has dabbled a bit more in black magic and she'll get payback on Esther for using her by imprisoning Esther someplace (in an amulet or something that she can give to Elijah or toss it in the ocean). Or maybe Esther will try to take over the body again and Shiela/Emily will take offense to Esther using Bonnie and they'll interject and do something. Lot of interesting Bonnie storylines they can do. |
