Is it just us or is the news lately full of depressing stories that either infuriate us or break our hearts? Well, that’s all about to chance thanks to Candice Accola and her latest Instagram post. The Vampire Diaries beauty shared a super exciting update about her personal life and we couldn’t be more overjoyed for her and her musician husband, Joe King. Are you ready for it, fang fans? They have a little one on the way!

Yep, that’s right: Candice is pregnant and truly glowing like the ray of sunshine she is!

And in case she wasn’t darling enough as it is, Candice chose to announce her pregnancy — and simultaneously unveil her baby bump — in the sweetest way imaginable: via a photo that features her grinning from ear to ear and rocking a homemade t-shirt that says “Baby” enveloped in a heart right — all while surrounded by her main man and his two adorable young daughters. Take a look:

“Sometimes a Saturday is best spent painting t-shirts and taking an awesome family photo,” Candice revealed. “Happy Monday everybody! #ThatAintNoBurritoinMyBelly Thank you to our friend @softspiritstrong for coming over and snapping this sweet pic.”

The daddy to be is also ecstatic about this recent development, as he indicated in a super enthusiastic Instagram post. “Baby King on the way!!!!” Joe gushed. “So proud to welcome this new life into the world with my beautiful wife and daughters. I truly am a lucky man & dad.”

The couple, who wed just a year ago in a traditional ceremony in New Orleans, are clearly over the moon about welcoming a new member into their family. This is the first child for the 28-year-old actress and the third one for The Fray guitarist. Congratulations to them both, and we wish them all the best as they embark on their latest adventure in parenthood!
