Hi everyone,

New to this board by not to discussion forums. I love TVD and I'm finding it hard to find a home to discuss it. The first board I was on was heavily modded to the point where I was afraid to post anything. The second was great at first but turned into a very negative anti-TVD forum. Seriously if you don't like the show stop watching and quit ruining it for everyone else.

Anywho

I'm hoping the 3rd times the charm.

I'm a sometimes pro Stefan and Elena, I don't hate them together but I think it's time for them to move on to other people. At least I did at the end of season 3. In season 4, there have been moments when I think there's hope for them yet.

I'm an Elena and Damon shipper usually and I'm also an Elena and Elijah shipper.

Yeah I know that last one is a pipe dream but hey it's my dream let me enjoy it

I'm pro most of the characters on the show most of the time. I think the writers are ok but occasionally I do scratch my head and wonder what they were thinking.

I love to speculate and debate my point of view and I'm not closed minded so if the debate is sound I could be swayed. I don't like people who are closed minded and think their opinion is the ONLY opinion

That's me in a nut shell. Looking forward to posting and debating

Hi and welcome! I think I know which forums you are talking about. But here we get along very well, are positive most of the time and we try to moderate at a minimum. I think most people know how to be polite to each other and so far we've had very little problem.

Thank you, and I'm encouraged by what I've read so far. I'm still a little timid about exploring the shipping wars threads but I think I'll "girl up" and venture in there eventually.

Well we kind of keep to our ships in there and it's our safe havens, in other words, no arguing about stuff in another ships thread or dragging what you read into another ship's thread to get them riled up against one another and it's worked pretty well here thus far. We have debate threads for any discussions (keep it friendly toward other members) about things we disagree about.

What about speculation and theories? Is there a place for that kind of discussion. I haven't been through all the threads yet so I apologize if it exists.

We do have a thread for all of season 4 and also threads for each episode as we go along under General Vampire Diaries.

I looked and I don't know if we actually have a thread just for speculations for season 4 that doesn't also contain spoilers. So if you don't want to be spoiled you might want to make a spoiler free one.

I don't mind spoilers but some people don't like them. I think I might start a thread once I read a bit more.

I love that you are a DELENA too.... and the SE part I get.. kinda. HAHA Actually I did ship them a few episodes in season 1 and was so angry at Damon. But when he touched her in her sleep I was hooked!

Yeah, that was my undoing too. Then Elijah came along and the chemistry was amazing. I do still root for SE once in a blue moon, but the rest of the time I'm really just torn between DE and EE.

Were you using a different username? I've been on a few boards. I'm looking for a home that's not so militant as it was on the first board and a lot less negativity towards the show on the second board. I'm still on the second board. There are a lot of really nice people that I truly like discussing the show with but there's also a lot of negativity lately that I'm guessing has come about since the first board closed and all those people are now looking for homes too.

They say third times the charm so I'm keeping my fingers crossed but so far so good. Everyone has been friendly and there's a lot less negativity.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we can't call out the TVD folks on things........I just don't like it if every episode is completely picked apart on a weekly basis. it just ruins the enjoyment of the show for me.
