Klaroline is better than Delena?

I'm wondering this because there are some people who don't ship Delena but have no problems in shipping Klaroline.

Some of the most consistent arguments that people have for not shipping Delena is the fact that Damon treated badly/abused people that Elena care for.

Klaus has done far worse than Damon, he's been the antagonist and threat since late season 2. He doesn't feel guilt or regret about any of the things he's done and he's not even trying to right his wrongs.

So Elena will be this horrible person if she gets with Damon because of how he treated Caroline/Bonnie etc. back in earlier seasons but it's okay for Caroline to be with Klaus despite the fact that he's manipulating Stefan and going to turn her best friend back into a blood bag and use her for the creation of his hybrids?

Yeah it doesn't make a whole lot of sense does it? While I'm not a Forwood fan, I'm not really a Klaroline fan either. I prefer Klaus to be his badass self and I'm afraid after the pony drawing stuff they'll screw up his character with this junk. Can't anyone just stay bad?

Caroline is just gonna use Klaus to get back a Tyler. and when Klaus adds 1 and 1, he will flip out and we'll get our villain back

We'll get our villain back and a speech about how he truly loved her and thought she'd be different. With any luck, Elena will be put on the backburner and Klaus will focus all his attention on making Caroline's life hell. Constantly breaking Tyler, endangering her mom, etc..

Yeah I'm sure the backlash from Klaus will be worser than what Damon could even be capable of. Look how he is with Bekah.

I don't know why they decided to drag Klaus in the mix and give Caroline yet another love interest. I wouldn't even be that bothered by it if it wasn't basically another carbon copy of Delena.

The only way I see Caroline and Klaus ever getting together is he either becomes annoyingly good which would be boring because he is such a good villain or something terrible happens to Caroline like her mother dies and she is out for revenge and evil. The idea of them being all "love Caroline but I'm going to go torture your friends now" and her being "Love you too but I'm plotting with Stefan and the gang to stop you" sorry but other than a little flirting here and there I can't see how it is going to work.

I agree. The writers are just teasing with it I think and using it as a plot device.  I am still shipping mattorline

Yeah you can't really. For some reason (very off topic) but I just realized that Matt almost died from drowning twice once when Bonnie saved him and once when Stefan saved him. Strange right?

I loved Matt and Caroline together. As much as I love Klaus im more in love with seeing him get hot and heavy on screen even if its Caroline. Thats a ship I wud like to c but I know.it will never happen and im ok with that lol I just enjoy their scenes

Try to take the shipping element out of it, and you get a much different picture.

Klaus is initially trying to seduce or entice Caroline because he wants to break Tyler in spirit as well as physically. He has no genuine interest in her and she is... well, just a tool he can utilize until she's not useful anymore. At which point, he'll snap her neck or rip her heart out, decapitate her or any other number of things that would serve to torment Tyler.

Now let's look at Damon's relationship with Elena. Has he used her for his ow purposes that had nothing to do with loving her? Absolutely. The difference is that he genuinely has come to see her as being much, much more than just a tool he can use to inflict pain and suffering on others. He cares for Elena in a way that I think he has only ever cared for one other person- his brother (with pre-tomb Katherine coming in second).

Once you take the shipping element out, you can start to see reasoning and motivations you wouldn't otherwise. I can't call Klaroline better than Delena because the motivations in Delena stem from feelings that are both romantic and otherwise mutual. Klaroline is anything but.

I agree with that. I think Klaus is not fooled by Caroline hanging around him just to stall him or get information from him. He may act like he is unaware of her motivation but he is totally aware of it and even using her at the same time. I think he's mildly amused with her for the time being but like he said, "Caroline, you're beautiful. But if you don't stop talking, I will kill you." She's not THAT important to him.
