A WINTER WONDERLAND IN MYSTIC FALLS — As a Winter Wonderland-themed party fills the streets of Mystic Falls, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola) find themselves at odds with Tyler (Michael Trevino) over his plans for Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and his hybrids. When Caroline proposes a solution to their problem, Hayley (guest star Phoebe Tonkin) finds a dramatic way to make it clear that she is not on board. Later, Klaus makes a discovery that leads to chaos and violence. Meanwhile, Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon retreat to the Gilbert Lake House to help Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) conquer some dangerous inner demons with the help of Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Professor Shane (guest star David Alpay), who reveals a piece of ancient history that leaves them all speechless. Zach Roerig also stars.

you think this would be the last episode before winter break or they will play episode 10 Dec 20th and then take a break?

Hmm most schools do two weeks off for winter break right? I could see TVD stopping at the 13th if that's the case. Although I don't remember last year if TVD played up to that last week before Christmas.

wow, this is the most we have seen of Ty in a promo since the beginning of the show. and what does he mean by taking out Klaus, they obviously can't kill him? and they can't do a spell since Bonnie is in the lake house?

Episode was just...their plan blew up in their face cause everyone was at odds on something and Hayley pretty much tore it down with telling Klaus (and taking out Caroline beforehand).
So all the Hybrids minus Tyler are dead, because Tyler wasn't there/ran, Klaus kills his mom, I'm assuming that Hayley will be in touch with Klaus later about going after the cure, April now knows and she's waking up Bekah (anyone who has a problem with April has a problem with me), Damon let Elena go and is staying at the lakehouse to train Jeremy in becoming a Hunter and the 2 will complete his Mark together (I'm happy with this) and Stefan & Caroline are still 'eh' with the whole Elena thing.
And to hell with Caroline for putting the idea out there that they could transfer Klaus to Bekah's body to 'put him down' just cause she could be daggered. That's just her jealously creeping into a plan. And Stefan stored her in the Lockwood cellar? I guess he thought since Tyler doesn't transform anymore, it was safe but still. She was in her coffin so why didn't he bury her somewhere since he spends so much time out in the woods?
Also happy Tyler called Caroline on not being able to keep her mouth shut.
Question: Tyler said he's had the Hybrids sworn to secrecy for a month so is this talking about when he started breaking bonds or from when he started this new 'pack'? Is that why Stefan was so irked because it's been a month since Damon was supposed break it off or am I just missing it?
