Day 18: Your Favorite Actress
I go by best actress on the crying scenes. (even for the guys too lol) it shows the best emotion iMO
All the girls on this show are great criers but my top two actresses would have to be Candice (Caroline) and Rebekah (Claire)
But I also have to give props to Nina Dobrev for being able to portray two characters on the same show in such different ways <3

Day 17 Favorite Actor:  Matt Davis is also a favorite of mine along with Joseph Morgan and Paul Wesley. I may not be too fond of their characters on show but doesn't mean I don't like seeing them on my screen  Day 18 Favorite Actress: Nina Dobrev. Going from Elena to Katherine I sometimes forget they're the same actor! I also enjoy Candice's and Katerina's acting as well. And I got a bit lazy on the pictures

Day 18: Your Favorite Actress There isn't a contest here. It's Nina! She plays two characters who are completely different and she plays them so well!!!! Kat might be my favorite of the two as far as how she "acts". Elena has her very amazing moments too but kat is one of the best acted characters on the show!     |

Day 19: Books or TV Show
That would be easy. I would go with The TV Show. Never read the books and decided not to when the show made it clear they weren't following the books completely. So early on I didn't bother reading the book to avoid confusing myself.
I did do alot of wiki research and read plot summaries etc to keep myself posted with the similarities.
I did however read the Stefan Diaries because they related to the book and they somewhat contradict the show as well.

Day 19: Books or TV Show
TV Show. I am a HUGE reader. I love to read. I read Twilight, Hunger Games, Harry Potter and a lot of books from 18 century England but I have never wanted to read the books. I especially don't want to read the books after they fired LJ. I don't care who or what she wanted at the end of the series to take it from a writer who created the characters is wrong to me! At the end of the day i would never read the books or the Stefan Diaries.
The Show to me is enough. I love the show and I obsess enough over the show but I do like hearing DE quotes from the books.

Day 19: Books or TV Show: Well I got into the TV Show because of the books so coming in I was already a DE/Delena fan so I never really got to experience a turning point like most people. And little things like Tyler being a werewolf and Klaus coming into play was already a bit spoiled for me Hmm in a way I lean more towards the books. Damon, Elena, and Stefan's personalities in the book fit the triangle better than the Elena in the show does. Damon had a lot of powers in the books that were taken away from him in the show and TV show Damon is great but there is a part of me that wishes he had the confidence that his book character had and wasn't resorted to the shows punching bag. Then there's the issue of the characters. The TV show introduces so many guest stars and it takes away from all the characters that we actually care about. The books also don't drag out story lines for seasons on end. Katherine entered had her arc and was gone, Klaus entered had his and the books moved on. I know Kat and Klaus' characters are popular but I kind of want the plot to move along too. We haven't seen Katherine in so long. They just need to do something with her character already. Next thing you know when Silas comes along he'll be sticking around for a season or two because he'll get popular as well Anyways now that LJ isn't writing the books anymore I don't care to read them. The TV show does have some interesting plots though like expanding on Elena's similarity to Katherine by making her a Doppelganger and introducing Hybrids, and some of the character changes were for the better like Tyler and Caroline's. Tyler was a jerk in the books and Caroline was barely redeemable. She wasn't really a part of the group anymore. Also DE never got the change to become a couple in the books so it's actually nice to see that happen on screen!

I am the only one conflicted? Well am not very conflicted, but prior to LJ getting fired I really did enjoy the books. I personally think they handled the triangle better than the show, but I did only read the first three. I also read the Stefan diaries and I think those handled the brothers better, but idk...
Overall I love the show more. There are just aspects of the books that I really do love. I also LOVE Bonnie on the show, but I do wish they had a book Bonnie like character on the show.

Day 20 An idea for a future TVD Epsiode
This one is interesting.
I need a flashback. 10 years ago. Why did Damon come to Mystic Falls wanting to ruin Stefan's life? Why did he hate Stefan so much? We know he was upset that Kat turned Stefan too and for awhile he blamed Stefan for forcing him to turn but he at the end of the day in both circumstances already had dealt with them before he came to Mystic. But they talk about a falling out 10 years ago often and I'm so curious because when Damon left Stefan to go to war in the 40's they were good. They were ready to start over!
It couldn't have been Kat related because Kat was in the tomb so what was it? That would be an awesome future episode. The two of them sitting down with Elena as mediator or counselor making them talk out their past issues.

Day 21 An Idea For A TVD CharacterI'd love for Damon to turn human at the end of the series. He only turned for love and when he thought Kat died he wanted to die. He only wanted to be a vampire for her. He loved his humanity and he misses it. I think that is why he suppresses it because when he feels it, it hurts too much. Damon was such a cute human. He was care-free and so boyish. Life was worth living to him. I'd like to see him get that back!

I would love for Callie from the Stefan diaries to show up. I am not sure if that was exactly the question, but PLEASE it would bring a lot of light to brothers and Stefan. Callie please!

I actually would love to see that happen. and it would bring light to them and them back and fourth. For me I put this in Slash's post about moving to mystic falls lol ill use it for here Character Ruby Sulez (Reference to Meredith in the books if I'm not mistaken lol)…I am a new teacher at the Highschool. First person I will make friends with will be Alaric (while he was still alive) (I am the type of girl that makes friends with guys more because girls can be too much of a drama haha) That would lead me into becoming drinking buddies with Alaric and Damon. Person I would definitely Pursue would be Damon but it would be a unreturned love because of his feelings for Elena. Runner up would be Klaus baby…who turns out I had a one night stand with at a wedding I attended where he kidnapped Greta. So I run into him again coincidently in Mystic Falls and try to act I don't remember him because he had compelled me to forget but turns out I cannot be compelled! I am a supernatural being and descendent from Silus hahahahaha so I am some sort of immortal witch/shadow hunter lol I would avoid Elena and keep it as professional as possible as just being her teacher but don't like the heffa because of my feelings for Damon. I would get involved with the gang as one of the grown ups helping to babysit along with Alaric and Damon. Putting things in order and knocking some sense into these crazy plans. |
