So I've been watching season 1 over and I'm noticing things I never did before like clues that the writers strategically placed in our face but we were unaware of. I'm on episode 7 the one with Logan fell and he comes back a vampire. Anyway Tyler and Jeremy get in a fight. Mayor Lockwood makes them go outside and tries to make them fight again. Alaric comes out and saves them. Later on Jeremy confronts Tyler and Tyler punches Jeremy. Jeremy asks him what's his problem and in the shot which is shot looking up at Tyler he says I don't know... Right behind him is a FULL MOON! We should have known right there from that shot he was a werewolf. I'm sitting here laughing that I never caught on to that.
How many more of those clues are in the show and we just didn't notice or are too blind to see?

I actually noticed the moon scene when it first happened haha. I cant think if any other ones off the top of my head

Really? I thought as I watched it "how did I not catch on to that"? I also noticed other things like how Alaric was supposed to come off as a vampire or make you think he was until he killed Logan. The ring and when Jenna wouldn't invite him in he was looking at the doorway. I loved when he first got introduced to Elena's class. How he broke down and explained his name which is German. =)
I am noticing how much Damon has changed. Some things he did the first part of the season made me cringe. But when he was trying to get his crystal and Stefan was stopping him he kept talking about unleashing the vampires on Mystic Falls because of what they did to the people and then he was fighting against those same tomb vampires to protect the town. I even remember I cant remember what episode though he said he came to mystic to destroy it and found himself protecting it. Such character growth!
He is just such an interesting character. I also love watching human Caroline. I miss her the way she was. Season 1 Caroline I loved. I miss her and Matt. I'm a BIG Matt and Care shipper. They have way more chemistry than Forwood.
I'm on Atlanta. I started today but I wont get to watch until a bit later. I'm excited because it's one of my most favorite episodes. I have many but I couldn't put all of them down in the challenge. LOL

Such character growth! i believe that was in 1x22 founder's day, the Damon speech before he kissed Kat. I read the books before the show so i was searching for clues that says Ty was a werewolf so i noticed the moon scene. |

Yea I thought Alaric was some type of superbeing too with the ring n all. I also thought tylers dad was a werewolf too but it was just the gene itself triggering his anger issues.
I love Caroline overall esp in season 1 when she began to grow. Her whole am i shallow scene was heartbreaking n how she thought so low of herself. (Kinnd of thank damon for that since he kinda made her believe it lol)
I also thought uncle john was supernatural after damon killed him haha lol
