Anyone else kind of worried about how divided the group has grown this season? We had Stefan & Klaus working together earlier, now Stefan has paired up with Bekah after a secret meeting, Damon is now in cahoots with Klaus, Tyler & Caroline were running some shoddy operation behind everyone else to free the Hybrids and take down Klaus, you had/have Stefan & Caroline working on this sire bond theory and really sticking it to Damon & Elena (causing more strife), you have Bonnie working with Professor Shane who has filled in Damon to keep him somewhat off his back as to why he's cozied up to Bonnie, Stefan was trying to work with Jeremy behind everyone's back but now Damon is partnered up with him and Matt.
Stefan & Klaus almost got Jeremy killed with Connor (and Matt & April were present), the glorious Hybrid plan got 12 Hybrids killed + Tyler's mom, Stefan got chewed out about using Jeremy, Caroline & Elena have been fighting over the sire bond thing likewise with Stefan & Damon, Jeremy to a point after gaining the Mark was going to keep the dreams a secret which could have led to Elena getting hurt/killed and so on.
They're all working towards the cure which is the dumbest part of it all. The same damn goal yet everyone is kind of splintering off with their own schemes except for Tyler who is oddly enough still on S3's "Kill Klaus" fixation with Caroline & Stefan contributing wonderfully to that as well. I feel like if Silas is the big bad next season, there will be 5-6 individual plans going on to defeat him cause no one agrees on anything or it's best to remain secretive for whatever reason and possibly have certain aspects of your own plan blow back on a group member. It'll be one plan failing after another, with lives lost most likely until they all pool into one plan at the end of the season, that is, whoever is left after the failed plans.
I'm not expecting Damon & Stefan to openly take their partnerships with Klaus & Bekah respectively to the other Original and wanting everyone on the same train but to at least work with one another, within the confines of the group itself, towards Elena's cure, which both have good reason for (Elena's feelings and wanting to make sure they're not clouded by the sire bond). I imagine Stefan is on the outs with Klaus after the failed Hybrid plan so at the very least, Damon covers them for access to the Sword and Jeremy's safety and some access to Shane & Bonnie. Stefan at the very least can work the Silas angle via Bekah & Kol to make sure the gang isn't walking into something bigger. If Stefan gives the greenlight to that, the gang can start thinking about what to do with Klaus since we know why he wants the cure. We know Bekah wants to burn him so they can officially plot with her and Kol to subdue/help in putting Klaus down after he fulfills his part. 2 Originals, a Hunter, a Witch and 4 Vampires working together to box Klaus is a hell of a good bet, especially if they spring it on him out of the blue.
To me, it just seems like a lot of petty stuff keeping the gang from firing on all cylinders or wanting to do some backdoor deals with others less inclined to actually live up to their end of the deal or have your back entirely like someone within the gang would.

I see another main dropping by the time S5 is over if they keep it up.
