i think its a big hoax and Silus played shane by making him think his wife could be brought back to life. he used his powers from way below and played off the weakness of shane. urgh i want this to be over with already

Agree Ruby!! I think his wife and the whole bringing back the dead is a game of Silas's. He is trying to get someone stupid chump to do his bidding. Play off the emotions of the person who falls into the hole. I think Shane's wife is just an illusion of Shane's. There is no dead person down there and the only power is Silas pulling puppet strings. His wife seemed way too eager to get her human husband to sacrifice people to bring Silas back. Is this even in his wife's character? I mean yes she died trying to bring her son back but that was her dying not 24 people!
Silas is just a witch trying to get some idiot to do his bidding so he can rise back to power. There is no cure and no bringing back the dead! They are all chumps in the Silas game!

Nonetheless, when a surprising piece of information regarding the vampire cure is abruptly uncovered, it will change the dynamic for all.
Moving forward, the topic of the cure will continue to call into question each of the vampires' beliefs, such as their desires to be human again, or what person would be deserving of it if it were only meant for one individual.
Of course if its only for One Person they would want it for our dear Elena -_-
If its only for one person I believe the person who deserves it the most is Rebekah.
She was the first one who came across it long ago and she was willing to leave her brothers so she could be human again.

Who the hell is she killing??? And Stefan was a bit snappy to her in that scene but I'm glad it ended on a friendly note. Last thing I would ever want for Elena is for Stefan to hate her and she never gets that friendship with him.

Was it just me or Elena slighty demanding why stefan never told her about him wanting the cure was annoying?
When she found out about the cure they broke up and then she hooked up with Damon and then to deal with the whole sirebond and then stefan finding out about the whole sex between them and they weren't on speaking terms so y would she expect him to tell her that?

I think him wanting to be human period. They were together for a year and she only thought he wanted to be human so he could be with her. She didn't know he missed being human or would prefer it. I think generally speaking was where she was coming from. Like "hey I never knew you missed being a human and you'd take a cure just because. I always thought you talked that stuff because you knew I wanted to be human".
