Uh, that was about as close to a rant as you'll ever see from me about a character (although I was ranting more about the way it was written than about the acting or the actual character). I'm not defending Klaus or his actions by any means. But if you're going to rant, you kinda have to consider the whole character and what made them act in a way you didn't like or hate. Otherwise if another character picks it up you'll be starting anti-character threads like hybrids die on the show, and that's not a good thing.
I guess I'm just more likely to examine why I don't like it, as opposed to simply disliking it and stating so. Mystic, lol...we only need one anti thread PER character, please. That was good... but sometimes hate just is.

You wanted this to be an anti thread right? Cause it's looking like a debate, people. Anti means we get to have our say with no rebuttals, no defending the characters here. Now if she wants to debate it, Sweet can move it to debates. I'll let her decide what she wants the thread to be and place it accordingly. If it stays here it is rants only. I want to keep it ANTI KLAUS. My fault for debating with them. LOL Let's keep the whole Kol, Elena and Jeremy thing somewhere else. If anyone wants they can put it in debates and I will debate the hell out of it! Thanks for the reminder my dear Doppel.

I still don't feel bad for Klaus or Kol. Elena made the decision to kill Kol, yes. But Kol knew it and still came back. He didn't have to. And Klaus should blame his brother for going back and not waiting for him. They both knew what was up. It's like walking into a den and knowing they are going to release lions. Why do it? Unless you are cocky and wont let anyone get away with anything. Kol thought they couldn't kill him. That he could handle the situation. He didn't give them credit and judged them wrong. He thought they couldn't do it and they did! They were somewhat at odds with the whole Silas/Cure thing. Kol was doing his own thing, on his own, just like the other 2. And by all means, he's an Original. He shouldn't have had to have worried about them killing him: he had the Stake, Bekah had the last dagger. He mentioned last episode or the episode before: "I'm immortal and I'd like to keep it that way." It's just for plot purposes, he had the Stake *ON HIM*, the one thing that could end his life for good unlike the dagger, and Elena had glanced it when he arrived And you have baby Vamp Elena holding down/restraining an Original. Haha...no. By all purposes, if I was Kol, I would have walked my ass back in the house too if I didn't know that there was a *PLOT* protecting Hansel & Gretel. So giving "credit" to the two Gilbert clowns is a bit much IMO. (This is probably the wrong place for this as it's turning into a debate, my apologies, when we're in the Anti section) EDIT: Just saw Doppel's post I'd love to debate you on this Slash. If you feel like making a debate board we can go at it! If not... we can let it die here and go back to RANTING about Klaus the cowardly lion!

Im not so much Anti Klaus as I am Anti-Klaus redemption storyline. lol Klaus needs to stay the villain.
In other words, Klaus does not need a redemption story. We already have that story told through the Salvatore brothers. NO ONE ELSE NEED APPLY! We need Klaus to stay a villian and we need Klaus to NOT get the girl for that very reason. He is selfish and will always be selfish so I am not sure he is truly capable of love...more like capable of an obsession.
I know that the scene in which Klaus' asking Damon for advice was interpreted as many things but I also think that it was meant to show that shipping Klaroline is not the same as shipping Delena. As Damon pointed out, he himself is merely impulsive as well as ruthless for the ones he loves while Klaus just does what he does for the power trip. When Klaus says "debatable" in the scene, he is simply trying to convince himself he has a chance with Caroline because he wants to believe that Damon is no better than him. Damon says "debatable" to remind Klaus that is is in fact better than him because his motivations are for the greater good/the ones he loves but Klaus just does what he does because he's selfish.
Klaus is lonely because he's selfish and will always be selfish. We can see that he is actially isolating himself because he's mostly interested in getting his way and is less concerned with his interpersonal communication skills- we see this is the case because as Rebekah says, ""What ever will [Klaus] do without [his] precious daggers? They were so convieniet when he wanted to end a conversation with one of [his siblings]?" I don't see how I am supposed to feel sorry for a guy that is lonely when he clearly is so lonely because he has never done an unselfish thing in his long existence? He's not the same as Damon because that's all Damon has really done his entire life...be unselfish (even if he acts out or tries to make it seem otherwise).
So I obviously don't ship Klaroline mostly because I feel this way (it's also because Caroline is annoying me really bad lately since she's judging everyone even though she has no room to do so). I shipped them for a minute because they do have good onscreen chemistry but I just can't get 100% behind it when this is how I feel about Klaus and that's it.

I want Klaus to stay a villian and not be redeemed, not be fixable, be constant so we can actually know what evil is. I hate that the show tries to fix everyone. Just stop it already! Klaus used to be scary to me back in the day when even Elijah wasn't scary enough for anyone lobbing off heads cause we knew there was this Klaus out there and then when he appeared he had this eary way of talking that sent chills up my spine. I don't want to see him painting ponies damn you! Don't they understand that I want to hate him?

I thought you guys might get a kick out of this THIS IS HOW WE DO IT~ Was I the only person who found it ironically hilarious that Klaus scolded that guy? Not meant to offend anyone. Though it probably will.
Oh and please let’s not forget my favourite

Which is why I don't get why Caroline feels like she does about him, especially after he staked her. That was like, "Wow." I would have thought that would have changed everything with her, but no, she talks about how if he can love he can't be all that bad. WHAT? She hates Damon for what he did to her but she says that about Klaus??? I'm confused.

I guess Caroline's feelings for Klaus are just another way to show just how hypocritical Caroline is (just like Stefan is). Why is no-humanity Elena torturing them both right now and even willing to pair them together to get them off her back? She is tired of them constantly judging her even though theyre hypocrites. It seems like all Caroline and Stefan do these days is hang around and judge Elena even though Caroline has feelings for Klaus and Stefan was an epic ripper. Klaus, of course, is a ripper of sorts too. Just crazy.

The thing i most hate about klaus is of all the revenge plans he had , he had to kill tyler's only family. I even support tyler in standing against klaus when its tyler vs klaus.

He seems like a spoiled brat to me most of the time, throwing a tantrum. I used to think he was a pretty scary dude but not anymore. They've made him a bit more fierce again in TO, though.
