Hello, my name is Anna and I am a new member to this forum as of today. I am 21 years old and a third year university student studying biological sciences.
I am fairly new to TVD series, I just got into it in May as I took the summer semester off, and only working part-time I've been pretty bored. I am SO happy I discovered this series, it has very quickly become my favourite tv show ever, it's SO addictive. I never watched it before I acquired netflix because I am SO bad with tuning into shows on a regular basis... even with a PVR it helped but shows would pile up and fill up the PVR so I would end up having to delete stuff I never watched... anyway.
In these short few months, I have finished and am up to date on all four seasons, and SO excited for the fifth coming in October!
I most definitely ship Delena... though I was a Stelena fan in the first few episodes of the first season. I was also a fan of Twilight and was a Team Edward fan so naturally I started off as Team Stefan... generally I tend to prefer the "good boys" over the "bad boys." I usually find the idea of a "bad boy" lame from my previous real life relationships, I found out the hard way bad boys are not all that they're cracked up to be... but oh dear, Ian Somerhalder as Damon won me over almost instantaneously... he's such a complex character. I feel a bit silly finding myself at 21 years old, reading Delena fanfiction again, something I haven't done since I was 15 so that says something about this show.
I am kind of sad I just got into the series so late, but hopefully there will be at least a couple more seasons to come before the series finishes.
