This would be the Toronto trip. I knew these rumors weren't true...sheesh. Every time they are apart for a few days this crap starts up again. Tabloids will write this trash just to sell copies...damn vultures.

well if people didn't freak out every time it wouldn't sell and the tabloids wouldn't care to make up the story.Maybe this should be lesson learned sorta thing. Keep their personal lives personal. They will share what they want you to know.

The video didn't really confirm anything one way or the other, but like Teppy said, if they wanted us to know they'd tell us. I mean who knows and it isn't our business anyway. People go through rough times sometimes even in great relationships and they don't need to world putting pressure on them about it.

I think this reaction happened because theyve been slightly more open about their relationship lately but at the same time, unless they want to tell us, its really none of our business.

Whether its true or not true will become obvious in time. It wont affect our ship anyway.

I think they are broken up after today. I mean, they didn't see each other for a few weeks and they arrive and leave separately and she goes to hang with girl friends and he went off on his own. Yeah, that's obvious. So it's sad, but hopefully it's not a bad breakup and they can continue on. I mean, people break up and get back together all the time. Because I just don't want it to affect DE and the direction of their story next season; that is, if Elena does choose Damon in finale.

I have every faith in their professionalism as I have said before. I know that they will do a great job together no matter what happens. It might even add to the angst next season lol, even though I loved them as a couple and im sad about this if true. Im still going to have to see how this plays out over the next few months when they have other projects going.

I think that if they have spilt which even now neither has bothered to confirm, it could be a case of Ian's charity work costing him, because I get the impression that the spilt isn't his idea, which is why I suspect they could get back together, if the spilt isn't want he wants.

They might be on some kind of break due to work and other commitments. It's just hard to fathom an arrangement like that after such a long relationship though. We will see though. Like I said, I have faith in their professionalism and onscreen chemistry no matter what. I know theyll remain friends even if they do or have broken up, even if just for the sake or loving DE and the show....and who knows what might happen later.

They look broken up but hey, break ups happen every time. They are at different places in their lives. Or maybe they just taking a break until season 5 to see how it affects them, who knows? It's their life. The only we can hope for, if they are broken up, is a friendly break up for their sakes as well as the show's sake.

Yes, Ian is usuallly all smiles and yesterday he looked tired and heart broken. I hope they can work it out. If it was Nina's idea, she may quickly change her mind. I mean, Ian isn't someone you can forget i'm sure.

Nina is young and right now she may be feeling her oats, as they say, wanting to do whatever she wants, be young and wild and free. Ian picked a girl 10 years younger than he is and that's the price he may pay, but hopefully she will realize it isn't all that and he is worth giving that up for. If you look at their tweets it's obvious that's what's going on.

I am unnaturally obsessed with this breakup talk. On the one hand, Ian did look exhausted yesterday at Upfronts and apologized for not taking pics etc with fans. I also saw a video of him on youtube yesterday when he arrived in NY and fans were stalking him; he looked exhausted and you could tell he really didn't want to take pics but being a wonderful person, he stayed and took pics etc. Granted, he traveled a lot lately so that alone could be the reason for him looking tired. However, we haven't seen he and Nina together since Easter and you'd think they would naturally gravitate toward each other at the after party for the Upfronts, and if they had, there would be a pic of that, so I do think they are on break. But Nina is still wearing that ring on her right hand and it appeared that the hat she wore recently could be one of Damon's. I read somewhere they talk every day still and that would seem to be true. My question is who is taking care of the cats when they are both gone so much?? See, unnaturally obsessed. And I thought I was only obsessed with Delena!

There was pics of them leaving a hotel in NY early May. I saw them! I'm not 100% convinced that all is over. I'm just not.

And I love NINA so please don't get me wrong but when I see her all happy then I see Ian all wrecked it kinda strikes my nerves. Not saying she isn't a crying mess at home but DAMN IT IT'S IAN!!!! I'm not taking sides but DAMN IT IT'S IAN! lol
